Responsible for providing technical supervision of the GBV and protection team, building the capacity of the protection team and launching the GBV case management initiative , and ensuring GBV mainstreaming into other departments, in addition to supporting the coordination of GBV sub-cluster.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the day to day implementation of the GBV program activities including management of the “Women and girls safe spaces” and GBV mobile services.
• Provide technical guidance and support to local partners in Syria on their GBV programming.
• Oversight and support to the GBV team in the provision of quality case management, and ensuring safe and ethical data monitoring.
• Develop and lead the capacity building of RI and partners GBV team in case management, GBV core concepts, GBV tools and resources and other topics based on the capacity building needs assessment and plan.
• Lead development and oversee implementation of community-based prevention activities.
• Provide technical guidance on the integration of Clinical Care for Sexual Assault Survivors.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for technically supervising the protection team, in terms of implementing general protection case management for vulnerable populations in Jordan including refugees.
• Responsible for building the capacity of DRC staff on protection- related issues, including accountability and compliance to the codes of conduct.
• Responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of the protection operations of DRC.
• Responsible for ensuring gender equality and gender mainstreaming throughout UN-Women oases in refugees camps.
• Responsible for ensuring the empowerment of vulnerable women through UN-Women oases in refugees camps.
• Responsible for ensuring the capacity building/ development of UN-Women’s camp staff (volunteers and employees) at personal and professional level through raising their awareness on varieties of topics with focus on GBV-related issues, individual coaching in particular on handling specific situation, providing training on protection mainstreaming, GBV, PSEA, ToT, community-based approach and participatory approach, moreover, provided them with the needed psychosocial support through individual interview, peer-peer therapy, support group therapy.
• Responsible for developing external referral pathway at camp wide for protection-related issues, inside UN-Women sites and in compliance with the inter agency standards operating procedures.
• Responsible for developing internal SOPs for all protection-related operations.
• Responsible for organizing and following up on UN-Women sites (oases) complaints, in addition to acting as PSEA (prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse) focal point.
• Representing UN-Women on several working groups and task forces at camp and country wide; including general network focal point, PSEA network, in addition to protection and GBV working groups at camp wide, moreover, participating in relevant participatory activities, such as, country wide studies, surveys and gap analysis.
• Responsible for providing a descriptive and numeric reports to address challenges, protection concerns and data analysis.
• Assist in recruitment process of UN-women volunteer and so ensuring that they aware of their rights and responsibilities while working with UN-Women.
• Responsible for coordinating and organizing the organization external relations, including donor and high profile visits.
• Provided disk help and counseling in UNHCR(community service ) office at the service area of Zatari camp for any refugee approach the office, then proceeded with appropriate referrals, in addition to those residing in the reception area.
• Responsible for following up on the distribution of diapers for persons with specific need at camp wide.
• Coordinating and conducting daily door-by-door home visits at Za’tari camp.
• Conducting vulnerability assessment and needs assessment and then refer the cases when needed to IRD,
UNHCR and other service providers at the camp.
• In coordination with UNHCR and other service providers, following up for persons with specific needs.
• Assisting in the provision of psychosocial counseling to individual in need.
• Assisting in the provision of support to community participation, community mobilization mechanism; such
as refugee committees, Community-Based Protection Networks, and outreach networks, hold group
discussions to Suggest community - based strategies or solution to problematic issues.
• Liaise with UNHCR and advise on gaps in programming.
• Assisting in the organization of events, such as World Refugee Day, 16 Days of Activism against SGBV, vision
and Hearing aid campaigns, mass information campaigns, etc.
• Participating in vulnerability assessments, needs assessments monitoring, mapping, and other related
activities as required by IRD and UNHCR teams.
• Engaging with refugees from diverse ages and genders and assists in mapping out their needs and
vulnerabilities through various participatory tools.
•Coordinated the daily outreach operations; including partnership with CBOs or other NGOs, time and resources management, working within a team, working with verity of stakeholders, and finally
developing daily report describing the most important feedback, incidents, or recommendations.
•Assessed variety of houses, needs, socio-economic status, safety and security…etc. for vulnerable refugees or citizens in different governorates.
•Participated in Monitoring and Evaluation of the project, through monitoring visits, analyzing monitoring indicators, and post- distribution (cash, sealed-off shelter kits) evaluation in particular with donor auditor.
•Assisted in enhancing referral pathway, in particular according to the SOPs on protection.
•Developed and honed my training and presentation skills through my responsibility for conducting internal workshops and training for capacity building purposes, besides developing training materials, particularly on coordinated- needs assessment, gender and protection mainstreaming.
• Improved different skills required in humanitarian field, such as; communication and negotiation skills,
extract and provide feedback, report writing and computer proficiency.
•Supervision of the GBV center.
•Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of the project.

• Implement psycho social support activities in the children friendly spaces at Alza’tari camp for children, youth, and parents/ guardians.
