A Digital Signage professional with excellent retail experience to support the development of a new Digital Signage business
• Provide a consultation service to digital signage clients to ensure the right solutions is developed / tailored to meet the client’s specific requirements
• Demonstrate a real understanding of the retail environment and shopper behavior and requirements, and the benefits of digital signage
• Develop the right digital signage solution (hardware, software, network and content) to meet the client’s requirements
• Provide an ongoing consultancy service to evaluate the implemented solution and continually work with the client and service provider(s) to develop the solution and drive customer impact and effectiveness
• Project manage the implementation and ongoing maintenance and support of the digital signage solution
• Produce detailed project plans and co-ordinate the actions of all involved parties to ensure solutions are implemented effectively, on-time and to-budget
• Work closely with the client and service provider(s) to provide a comprehensive ongoing service to the clients, ensuring all issues are resolved quickly and effectively
• Work with all parts of the Group to raise the profile of the digital signage business
• Work with the Sales and Customer Services teams across the group to identify and exploit key digital signage opportunities
• Maintain awareness of digital signage around the Group through regular contact / communications with the Sales and Customer Service teams
• Knowledge & Experience in Digital signage Setup.
• Responsible for assigning the day to day job for IT Teams.
• Exposure to all types for Network infrastructure such as Internet/ LAN/ WAN/ VPN and maintain and trouble shoot for any reason.
• Research, develop, improve existing Signage setup and IT Infrastructure.
• Interacts with clients on all levels to help resolve IT/Technology-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner with 24/7 support.
• Oversees troubleshooting, systems/server backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary.
• Responsibility of Web and system administration.
• Trouble shooting & Installation of Desktops, Laptops, Printers, Email client and server, Networks, windows server, firewalls.
• Supervisory and control of Junior colleagues
• Knowledge and exposure to all types of software and hardware.
• Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products.
• Successfully Setup new franchisee in Muscat, Kenya, Somaliland, Djibouti, etc.
• Procuring/Purchasing of IT Equipment
• Hardware and Software maintenance and support
• Maintain the peripherals, such as network access points, printers.
• Installation and maintenance of wireless access points and access administration
• Maintain of Cabled networks connectivity with peripheral units
• System security maintenance and systems installations
• System backup, installations, repair and maintenance
• Supervisory and control of Junior colleagues
• Monthly performance reports of the department (personnel)
• Carrying out the instructions/ orders of the Operation Manager.
