Monitoring Port vessel operations and Customer service/ Documentation.
Coordinate with customers for cargo bookings and Hamad port to complete all the documentation formalities related to cargo and vessel operations.

“PORT OPERATIONS’ - CONTAINER SHIPPING (FROM 2014-MAY)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Monitoring of vessels movements at HAMAD/Misaeed port & Operations
* Preparation of Export daily booking, loading list of Full and Empty units, EX-Doha for all our/JV vessels & submit to Terminal, Planning desk with coordination with all shipping lines. Sending connecting details of TBL units to POL/POD agent as well as system pre- arrival to concern.
* Timely updating to customers Vessel ETA & port Gate in/ Gate pass (Bayan) Cut-off for smooth operations & follow up with required docs. (DG/Reefer/OOG Manifest) Etc.
* In co-ordination with Vessel Master, Update daily vessel ETA detail to terminal to secure berth.
*Coordinate with vessel master to ensure all pre-arrival documentation formalities are completed with port authority and vessel is clear for berthing.
*Coordinate with Port operations and ensure maximum resources are deployed to enhance productivity and reduce turnaround time.
*Book the gangs in coordination with berth planning team.
*Complete vessels inward and outward formalities in coordination with agency team.
* Forward the vessel arrival notice to customer, along with details of DG/special /damage report.
* Following up DG port approval status Import Shipments & notifying customers for direct/in direct delivery arrangement.
* Submit the inbound EDI to terminal& forwarding Outbound EDI/load plan to POD.
* Follow up with customers for booking of MTY & FULL containers.
* Compile load list with customers & coordinating with Hamad port MTY/Planning team to finalize loading list.
* Finalizing load list & submit the planned list/summery to POD
* Coordinating with shipping agency department for customs & marine department formalities.
* Tugs/Barges requesting berthing permission from marine department
* Preparation of TDR & distributing to POD & individuals shipping lines and to invoicing department.
* Furnishing all necessary operation reports to management (Vessel performance, bunker consumption report. Export loaded, ETC)
* Checking with all customers on the completion of each operation that Line, Agent, and the Vessel have received correct & completed documentation (Booking /load list /MLO confirmation/DG/Reefer /Tank Certificates) & responding all customer enquiries.
* Mesaieed Port Vessel Pre arrival /Suitability submission to the relevant port authorities
* Provide all necessary operation reports to management

“OPS PLANNING DOCUMENTATION’2011 MAY -2014 MAY.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Finalization of vessel discharge & load according to Ship schedule
* Proficient user of SPARCS & Express Unix base / windows base software of Navis N4
* Making optimal use of the system to conduct all Documentation and Business transactions.
* Liaise with all the customers to ensure all the documentation requirements are received in advance operation.
* Well aware of Customs Regulations, process & procedures.
* Ensure all transactions conducted according to the Customs & Terminal procedures.
* Ensure that the Customers are dealt with politely and are facilitated in every possible manner.
* Liaise with the Yard/Vessel planners, regarding Export Receive in relation to each vessel and receive cargo bookings according to the available slots & space on specific vessel
* Communicating with planners if specific request for examination is received from Customs
* Liaise with Operation Team Leaders & supervisors of all requirements furnished by lines and their agents.
* Furnishing all necessary operation reports to management and make sure final report are correct for invoicing requirements.
* Checking with all customers on the completion of each operation that Line, Agent, and the Vessel have received correct & completed documentation.
