ADNOC Upstream Directorate - HQ
Job Description & Responsibilities:
 Portfolio management of ADNOC Onshore and Al Dhafra Petroleum upstream projects towards achieving ADNOC strategic
objectives of 3.5 MMBD by 2018, 4.0 MMBD by 2020 and 5.0 MMBD by 2025 YE.
 Represent ADNOC in all Shareholders meetings, OPCOs workshops and miscellaneous events (such as PStC, PFISC, PSC, DWS, etc.).
 Implement Value Assurance Process (VAP) thru acting as a Gate Keeper reviewing the full technical Decision support package (DSP)
and coordinate with other functional business unites to consolidate comments and finalize the way forward of the project (kill,
rework or proceed to next gate).
 Act as ADNOC single point of contact and accountability (SPA) for ADNOC Onshore and Al Dhafra Petroleum handling
miscellaneous technical submission, Commercial submission vide major tender board (MTB) such as awarding strategy and bidder
list, award recommendations, variations, long term service contract agreements and call-off contract placing and renewal, etc.
 Facilitate endorsement of Management Investment Committee (MIC) for all major projects thru review and verification of project
specific Financial/Economical Model and Presentation submission, aligning internal stakeholders within ADNOC including Finance,
Legal, Investment and CEO executive office.
 Reviewing 5 years Business Plan and ensure project portfolio supports ADNOC strategic objectives including the full development
of GAS Master Plan and Shutdown Plan (upstream/downstream full alignment).
 Reviewing Major Monthly Project Progress reports (VAP & PMC), highlights any area of concerns and address the necessary
corrective actions directly with ADNOC Onshore & Al Dhafra Petroleum management, follow-up actions and report/escalate to
ADNOC management as necessary.

Project #1 (Mar 14 - DEC 16)
Title: P8453-B “New Gas Injection/Gas Lift/Oil Facilities” (USD 160 Million)

Project Description: Wellhead Platforms Topside Modifications and Hookups of newly drilled Wells(29 Nos.)
Project #2 (Oct’12 - Mar’14)
Title: Potable Water System & Sewage Treatment Plants at Zirku Islands (USD 170 Million)

Conceptual Study By: Worley Parson
Role: Sr. Project Engineer (Acting Project Manager
Project Description: Full EPC, Commissioning/Start -up, Operation & Maintenance for the Potable Water System and Sewage
Treatment Plants at Zirku.
Responsibilities
 Review & assist in development of Schedule, construction method statements and QA/QC procedures & ITP’s for mechanical
works of 1st Stage Trains (1 to 7) modification works (internal replacements & external modifications)
 Assist in development & finalizing of miscellaneous Project Organization Charts & Mobilization Plan
 Review construction method statements and QA/QC procedures & ITP’s for miscellaneous mechanical (storage tanks, steel
structure erection, pipeline installation& hydro testing) & civil works
 Perform Technical evaluation of all proposed Mechanical & Civil subcontractors & vendors (such as earth works, pre-cast, steel
structure fabrication, storage tanks erection, painting, de-sledging, etc..) with respect to their competence and study their
qualification, resources and suitability to meet project requirements & milestones, all in accordance with project specification &
client guidelines, and prepare for client approval of the same
 Review construction subcontractor weekly reports and attend to “Area of Concerns” highlighted within
 Review & assist in perpetration of site technical queries and liaise with in-house engineering/Discipline engineers to resolve
technical issues with client & subcontractors/vendors
 Obtain necessary” No Objection Certificates (NOC’s)” from governmental authorities & third parties for pipeline routes
 Attended Weekly Construction & Operation Meetings, prepare and distribute MOM’s, and act on observations to close
 Ensure construction subcontractors & vendors in comply with Client requirements, and assist them in obtaining security passes for
their personnel, vehicles & equipment in line with Higher Oil & Gas Supreme Council
 Independently handle piping works and support pipe rack steel structure erection subcontractor to meet site requirements.

Title: Bab Thamama “G” And Habshan-2 Development 1.8 MMBOPD Project (USD 900 Million)

Owner: JV of DOLPHIN ENERGY, QP (BARZAN) and SHELL GTL (PEARL)
Responsibilities
 Anchor construction activities to ensure completion of project within the time, cost and productivity parameters
 Establish long-term partnerships with vendors and manage supplier performance to ensure service, cost, delivery & quality norms
 Supervise the installation & commissioning of equipment; review technical specifications, cost estimates for erection & commission
of as agreed in scope of supply; and review & analyze contractor's change order proposals and submittals
 Liaise with clients/consultants on various issues, and monitoring and coordinate with sub-contractors
 Implement project specific engineering working standards and procedures for efficient and effective work practices
 Maintain project reference planning and activity based cost model for the operations and engineering team
 Prepare and review method statements and work specific quality control plans
 Ensuring adherence to project guidelines and corporate Health Safety and Environment (HSE) procedures to maintain a safe
working environment through the Project Life Cycle
 Lead projects to successful technical & commercial closure and prepare for handover to end-user as per the contract
 Officiate as Project Manager during his absence from the work location or when required

Description: The project is intended to enable Sharjah Pipeline Company to import Jet Fuel & Store at Hamreyah Free
Zoon & Pump through 41 KM Pipeline to Sharjah International Airport

Title: 3rd NGL Train Project (USD 300 Million)
Owner: Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd. (GASCO)
Prime EPC Contractor: Snamprogetti S.p.A
Description: Lump-sum turnkey contract to design and build liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) storage tanks and a pentane
tank for a natural gas processing expansion project in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. CB&I is
responsible for the engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction of four 83, 600 cubic meter
nominal capacity concrete full containment LPG tanks, including foundations and piping to grade. Two tanks
will store propane and two will store butane. Additionally, CB&I will supply a 76, 000 cubic meter nominal
capacity atmospheric storage tank for Pentane Plus. Completion of the project is scheduled for mid-2007
