Project manager for a variety of tourism development initiatives implemented under USAID Building Economic Sustainability through Tourism (BEST) Project; with emphasis on enhancing tourism products and offerings around key attractions and increasing visitor demand for existing destinations around Jordan. The position entails working closely with government entities, private sector, while focusing local community and tourism industry entities to build their institutional capacity and contribute to the successful development and implementation of new tourism initiatives, offerings and services.
USAID Building Economic Sustainability through Tourism (BEST) Project is a five-year, $36 million project that seeks to support Jordan's transformation into a globally competitive tourism destination. The project works closely with government, non-government and private sector stakeholders to strengthen the country's tourism facilities and services, improve the management and promotion of tourism sites, boost marketing efforts and encourage tourism to secondary sites.
Member of the management team assigned to undertake the planning and design of the company’s investments within the healthcare sector and mainly including a USD 50 Million Minimally Invasive Surgical (MIS) center and resort in Aqaba, Jordan.
The project concept was to establish, manage and market a state of the art Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery; hosting, on a rotational basis, world class surgeons from Europe and the United States while utilizing cutting edge technologies to treat regional and international patients.
The project comprised of 3 main components: the surgical center, the residences, and the clinics; in addition to a complementary component related to education/training, with a total built-up area of approximately 13, 000 m².
Member of the initial team selected to realize the vision behind Ma’an Development Area (MDA); through managing the Engineering Design and Engineering Planning divisions during all design and construction phases for realized projects valued at USD 45 Million and planned projects estimated in excess of USD 500 Million.

Project: The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan's Pavilion at EXPO 2005 in Aichi, Japan.
Projects: Al Abdali Urban Regeneration Project, Urban Strip: An Eastern Entrance to Amman Project, Zarqa Military Camps Development: King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz City, Masterplans for Irbid, Mafraq and Ma’an Governorates in Jordan, Aqaba Tourist Railroad Project, Other Projects.
During the same period; was appointed as a "Member of the Design & Exhibits Committee / Official Graphic Designer" for Jordan National Committee for the Aichi World Exposition in charge of the design, execution and operation of The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan's Pavilion at EXPO 2005 in Aichi, Japan.
