• Examine patients and take their histories & Order for labs which include blood test, Ultra sound and other procedures
• Investigate all gynae. and obs. OPD and emergencies

• Managed all kinds of Gynecological and Obstetrical emergencies and deliveries
• Assisted various major Gynecological surgeries (C-section, hysterectomies, laparoscopies and laparotomies.)
• Conducted regular rounds of admitted patients
• Maintained records of patients
• Attended regular periodic meetings and training sessions

Civil Hospital Oct 2002 - Sept 2003 House officer

During first six months of house job I worked in Pediatrics Department.
• Bed strength of 100 including Tetanus unit, Diarrhoea Training unit, Children emergency room and special care unit.
• Neonatal nursery with six incubators and seven cots and a turnover of 400 - 500 babies in a year.
• Department was running an OPD for fulfilling the requirements of about 300 - 400 patient daily.
I worked in all the above units and also conducted endoscopies and cranial taps under the supervision of professor, and lumbar puncture individually.
During later six months of house Job in Gynae and Obs. department.
• Worked in Labor room, operation theatre, emergency and OPD
• Looked after prenatal, pre & post-operative cases and conducted minor operations under supervision and assisted major operations.
• Attended group discussions and seminars that took place regularly in this unit.
This unit was an undergraduate and postgraduate teaching unit attached to Dow Medical College, has the facilities of ultrasonography, Pap smear, colposcopy and the antenatal care.
It was having an outpatient attendance of more than 200 patients per week.
