• Installing and operating Windows desktop and server operating systems.
• Assisting the IT Director with support requests.
• Working within a TCP/IP network environment, including DHCP, DNS and Ethernet.
• Providing technical support over the phone to all Users.
• Handling incoming incidents via the phone / e-mail promptly and effectively.
•Travelling to client sites to help with installs, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnosing and resolving a wide range of technical issues.
• Escalating issues where necessary to senior managers & IT director.
• Investigating and implementing ways of reducing major issue in IT.
• Ensuring that all issue are captured and entered in the logging software.
• Updating support documentation.
• Provide troubleshooting and configuration support for client desktop and networking environment.
•Ensure fingerprint machines & CCTV cameras are working properly in Head office, hotels and all Group outlets.
* Fulfill departments & users with PC & Printer requirements. Configuring Personal Computers TCP/IP communication parameters, desktop applications, main business application clients, and security/Antivirus client setup.
*Create & Track IT purchases, warranties, and maintenance issues.
* Visit periodically branches for upgrades and preventive maintenance.
* Engage in problem-solving, monitoring, and installing of data communication equipment and software.
Coordinate/Setup user’s access rights to Network, shared resources, and e-mail with the Network Administrator & IT Manager
Branch Network Maintenance (LAN&WAN and all related network accessories maintenance.
Respond to service calls; diagnose and correct equipment failure and malfunctions; repair or replace malfunctioning equipment.
Installation and Maintenance of all PC’s and Printers.
Provide technical support to internal users and monitor hardware to ensure effective operations.
Maintaining Backups of Company data as directed by Engineers.
Ensuring the Maintenance of Internet connection by liaising with ISP and assist with mail system administration as required.
Configuration of MS Outlook/Outlook Express Email functionalities
