I have almost 23 years of work experience and more than 17 years in a Supervisory position, leading a small team of Procurement in Power Generation - Industrial Operations (Engineering, Manufacturing, MRO & Projects environment). Mainly Customized Projects for Saudi Aramco, SEC, Ministry, Marafiq etc. and other Oil & Gas companies.
I am aware of the policies, processes and best practices in procurement and implemented the same within the Department.
I am maintaining the SOP of Procurement as per ISO 9001-2015 as a Process owner. I am also a qualified internal auditor certified by TUV.
I am also the Key user of Procurement & Warehouse during ERP implementation and still the same. (Infor -M3). I prepared the job instructions of Procurement for M3.
I am also a CPP (Certified Purchasing Professional) by Meirc Training & Consulting. Also certified by AIBM (CPPP) Certified Purchasing & Procurement Professional.
I have strong knowledge in low/ medium voltage electrical products and their Suppliers in the Middle east. I have sound experience in dealing with installation contractors of LV/ MV products. (Diesel Generators/MV Switch Gears/ Transformers/ Cables/ Trailers/Load banks, ATS's, NGR etc....)
Also sound knowledge and experience in all mechanical, instrumentation products, components, consumables as well as Suppliers for these items. Completely responsible for handling the outsourced Engineered products for our major projects with ARAMCO & SABIC (i.e. Genset Enclosures, Trailers, Switch Gears, Control Panels, Fuel tanks etc....)

I used to visit Suppliers for pre-qualification along with QA/QC and for expediting the deliveries and also to resolve any other issues related to the Orders.

I am dealing with a lot of miscellaneous suppliers, items, and outsourcing/engineered activities in coordination with the Engineering Dept. Arrange meetings with Suppliers and Engineering/QC to resolve the technical problems. Coordinate with QC and Suppliers to get release for outsourced/ engineered products.
