Well experienced in handling of EPC Construction Project Which Include Piping Erection, Welding, Hydro Testing, Painting & Commissioning job.
Work force handling to its optimum utilization & preparing proper work front to complete the given task with optimum safety & quality within given time schedule.
Reading tender documents and compiling the tender based on the requirements.
Preparing method statements, Works schedule and project execution plans as per the requirements of the tender.
Ensure the implementation of HSE procedures for construction and pre-commissioning.
Maintain the project related accounts and to maintain the list of variations and all approvals related to the project.
Preparation of Manpower Histogram for the Project & Monitoring the work progress.
Planning day to day activities and allocation of machineries, manpower to achieve the scheduled progress.
Handle Project independently - Project planning, execution, monitoring and control within defined budgets and deadlines.
Ensure timely progress and implementation of the project quality plan.
Assist Project Manager in identifying the resources required for the project and monitoring the performance and progress of the works.
Train, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and sub-contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Developing work ethics among the project team members/groups. Thorough knowledge in Oil & gas project materials, tools, equipment, machinery, consumables.
Knowledge of International codes like ASME SEC IX, SEC V ASME B31.1, and ASME B31.3 etc.
Co-Ordination of work with other department and contractor.
Attending progress meeting with client and sub-contractors.
Coordination with client and subcontractors on work / project issues and resolving the deficiencies.
Interaction with Planning engineer, Project manager and finalizing the catch up plans.
Interacting with design, Procurement, Planning, QA/ QC, and stores departments on work related issues / deficiencies.
Arranging of all resources for performing inspection / testing and getting inspection release from QA / QC engineer, TPI as per the approved ITP.
Verify that the pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up requirements are accounted for into engineering documents
Supervise the preparation of the pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and handing over site activities in accordance with the relevant procedures
Supervise the pre-commissioning, commissioning, start up and test run activities. For these activities, define the specific temporary logistic required complying with the project scope of work. Elaborate tools and method of control
Support the Commissioning Superintendent for the aspects falling within his area of responsibility
Performing and witnessing commissioning activities like Hydro test, Pneumatic test, Helium nitrogen leak test, Nitrogen purging, Pigging, Chemical cleaning, Lube oil flushing, Water circulation, Equipment box up, Motor solo Run Test etc.
Ensure the application of the HSE Manual for the activities falling within his sphere of responsibility
Coordinates with the production supervisor for any piping related problems that advises during fabrication and erection.
Handling the isometric drawing, Piping Plan layout and P & id.
Ensure erection activities are done according to drawings and requirements.
Manage and control work distribution among workforce, and ensure maximum productivity.
Prepare the field change notice for revised isometrics.
Responsible for as built drawing and field instruction for piping work
Prepare the material take off based on field requirement.
Report resources requirement in timely manner, and ensure timely completion of scheduled activities.
Coordinate with the warehouse material controller regarding the availability of material.
Coordinate with client for modification of drawings.
Enforce safety requirements and participating in safety audits.
Familiar with ASME, ASTM and related specifications/codes
Package clearance for hydro test.
Punch list clearance for pre commissioning
Performing hydro testing and pneumatic testing for process and utility piping.
To ensure that own actions plus those of the project team are conducted in accordance with the HSE management system.
To have single point responsibility for the efficient delivery of the project within schedule, cost, and quality standards.
To develop the project Scope of Work in order to define the required deliverables.
To establish an effective document management system for the project.
To ensure that effective business controls are applied throughout the project and in accordance with stated requirements. Controls will apply to all HSE, commercial, financial, quality, integrity, and schedule issues.
To be responsible for the management of all project reporting, interface definition and management, plus liaison with Client project engineers.
To ensure that technical integrity is fully maintained and that all deviations to project standards/procedures are formally recorded and approved.

Familiar with engineering drawing reading.
Mechanical clearance & Hydro testing, Box-up, System Handover to the client.

Conversant with ASME/ASTM requirements.
Setting Targets for the day & week and scheduling the activities to achieve the targets.
Documentation related to execute the contract.
Elimination of Wastages & Rejection Control.
Fabrication of Miter, Reducer, Tee & Transition pieces.
