 Setting Budgets and ensuring these are not exceeded
 Support and Effective Management of staff within all areas
 Report to the Director on a regular basis.
 Negotiation of sensitive Contracts
 Coordinate forecast and develop a procurement Schedule for equipment.
 Build and develop relationships with key suppliers.
 Help to lower the cost and secure agreements.
 Prepare purchase requisitions and issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions.
 Ensure appropriate quality management, including review and compilation of quality documentation and assisting with quality audits and inspections (both internal and external).
 Be aware, communicate and actively collaborate in the Sustainability Policies set by the company in the Sustainability Director Plan.
 Search alternative producers of products and machinery manufactured in South Africa and the rest of the World.
 Liaising with Global Projects with special focus on projects Internationally.
Managing and solve any issues with the suppliers and manage the fulfilments of the contracts. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Source Energy Efficiency Products Contribute to the implementation of a long-term strategy for the Procurement function and ensure alignment of all activities undertaken in the purchasing department to the strategy
 Build out short and long term forecast predictions
 Develop and execute Procure to Pay strategy
 Drive best practice, continuous improvement and innovation at process and procedure level within purchasing
 Construct, implement and fine tune methods, processes and systems to enhance effectiveness and meet organizational goals
 Ensure cost effectiveness by maximizing cost/benefit ratios
 Managing the Request for Quotation/Proposal and Information process
 Pro-active Business Risk Management.
 Interview, identify and qualify potential new vendors in order to secure more cost effective sources of products and services
 Manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships
