* Responsible to conduct trials for new / alternative, Packaging / Raw materials.
* Conduct sensory evaluation of new products.
* Calculate preliminary nutritional information for new product formulas.
* Reformulate existing products to meet changing needs.
* Participate in cross functional teams to ensure effective resolution of technical issues related to product innovation.
* Assist Supply Chain Department with sourcing and evaluating new and alternative products and ingredients.
* Research food trends, market data and ingredient, product and packaging opportunities.
* implementation of the SFDA regulatory instructions (Calories, Nutritional information & Labelling).
* Create provisional and final cost of new products.
* Contribute in developing food safety and quality training materials and conduct training sessions for all employees to improve their knowledge and performance.
* Participant in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activity, Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues, and conduct Improvement meeting by highlighting the reasons of low performance, agree action plans and follow up the implementation of the action (CAPA)
* Audits team member, Conduct audits accordingly to ensure delivering safe and high quality food to our customers in addition to compliance with Company & Local Regulatory Standards.
* Contribute in creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) related to daily operations to comply with regulatory and company needs.
* Performing routine inspections and quality tests, Report the Non-Conformity of material, semi-product and finished product (NCR).
* Documenting quality assurance activities and creating audit reports.
* HACCP team member, Monitor the set of CCPs, OPRPs and CQPs. And assure that they are within limits.
