Roles & Responsibilities :- Verifies and ensures all field activities are performed according to ADNOC /Tecnimont HSE Policy, regulations, standards, and procedures, promoting all preventive and corrective actions as required. EPC scope includes Manayif Processing Plant, Manayif Utilities, Offsite pipelines and Tie-ins, Substations, Main control buildings etc. Review and approve contractor's health, safety, and environmental plans, risk assessments, and method statements to ensure compliance with legal and client requirements before starting the works. Organize, plan and participate in periodic HSE walk-arounds with ADNOC, Subcontractor inspections and audits on site; prepare reports, action plans, and verify timely execution of corrective actions. Supervise HSE Inspectors to ensure the implementation of health and safety arrangements at site, complying with legal and client requirements. Ensure HSE Inspectors follow up on contractor's incident investigation reports, ensuring identification and closure of corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Make sure that Subcontractors, perform their activities in accordance with all the HSE applicable procedures, regulation, and standards, promoting all necessary action to ensure that the said procedures and regulations are observed.

Position - Sr. Safety Supervisor/BF HSE Trainer (Technip Energies - Italy)
Roles & Responsibilities: - Review and analyze PTW, critical lifting operations, RAMS coordination meetings, tank farm, and wharf operations. Plan and conduct HSE trainings, induction, and refresher safety training courses for clients, subcontractors, and visitors. Responsible for ensuring that all BAPCO refinery, pipeline, precommissioning, and commissioning activities are conducted safely and in compliance with client requirements, international safety standards, and local regulations. Monitor day-to-day construction, Brownfield maintenance and operational activities within refinery process units (e.g., CDU, VDU, FCCU, Hydrocracker, Utilities). Oversee safe execution of pipeline construction, tie-ins, hot tapping, hydrostatic testing, cleaning, and pigging operations. Manage Permit to Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities such as hot work, confined space entry, chemical cleaning, working at heights, and energized systems. Work at onshore refineries, pipeline ROWs, construction yards, and process facilities. Conduct weekly HSE meetings, BF trade test coordination with BAPCO, monthly PSI audits, and evacuation drills with clients in the Greenfield & Brownfield (PCC areas). Supervise inspections and audits of site premises to ensure that safety and health methods are being employed and that all relevant regulations are observed.

Position - Sr HSE/ Safety Engineer - IPMT (ADPi)
Roles & Responsibilities: - As the client’s consultant HSE engineer, I need to monitor, audit, and enforce safety compliance across all Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor and subcontractor activities in airside and landside areas. Review and approve EPC contractor and subcontractor Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and Job Safety Analyses (JSA) to ensure they are specific to airport environments (airside/landside). Protect the airport’s operational safety, security, and environment while ensuring safe delivery of construction and maintenance projects. Verify EPC contractors and SC meet adequate safety resources (HSE officers, first aiders, emergency response teams). Ensure EPC contractor and all subcontractors are fully compliant with local civil aviation regulations (e.g., Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority, GACA, etc.), International standards (ICAO, IATA, OSHA, NFPA codes). Verify all permits are valid and conditions are followed precisely for Hot works, working at heights, lifting operations, electrical isolations, confined space entries. Lead or participate in incident investigations involving EPC contractors and subcontractors. Regular toolbox talks are conducted focusing on airside risks (FOD, aircraft movement dangers, emergency evacuations). Attend client/EPC coordination meetings to raise and discuss safety issues openly. Ensure clear, two-way communication between airside operations, airport security, fire services, and contractors.

Position - TBM & Tunnel HSE Engineer (Acciona - Spain)
Roles & Responsibilities: - Underground tunnel works, excavations (dewatering, shoring, and piling), and management of heavy equipment, simultaneous activities, and operations (SIMOPs). (TBM: Tunnelling with Wugeisha, Herrenknecht, EPB type & Diameter: 9.66 m, Length: 100 m). Having good exposure to tunnelling works in TBM erection assembling, disassembling, and launching, initial and during the main drive, TBM dragging at station box, intervention, TBM lifting, cross passage, NATM, underpass, SEM, viaduct, tracklaying, commissioning, and bridges (all as per international standards). Conduct frequent audits and inspections to confirm the effectiveness of HSE programs on critical operations, equipment, and procedures at the assigned location; present recommendations for improvement; and follow up on their implementation. Contribute to the investigation of accidents and incident reporting as per the company and agreement requirements, preparation of activity hazard analysis (AHA). Lead the development and implementation of required environmental, occupational health, and safety (EHS) programs and procedures.

Position - TBM & Tunnel HSE Engineer - (PORR - Austria)
Roles & Responsibilities: - Identifying hazards to find out what could cause harm in tunnelling work like TBM movement, NATM, MSV movement, segment loading, etc. (TBM: Germany’s HerrenKnecht, EPB type & Diameter: 7.05 m, Length: 120 m). Reviewing existing geological information and conducting a workplace investigation to determine whether existing information is accurate and sufficient. Inspection/review of hydrology study of groundwater conditions, including location, volume, and possible changes due to tunnelling and other activities. Ensuring an adequate ventilation system throughout the tunnel during construction. This includes providing extra localized extraction ventilation for dust, heat, or fumes during excavation, post- blasting, operating large plants, or other activities like maintenance.Ensuring the communication system used to pass on information on safety-related matters like plant condition, instrumentation, atmospheric monitoring, and fire alarms is functioning and in place. Rescue procedures, including self-rescue, and where rescue is assisted from outside the tunnel should be described in detail in the emergency plan and be practiced by workers. Implementing procedures to assess and manage changes includes stopping tunnelling work to reassess the changed conditions and reviewing risk control measures. Conducting gas tests, periodic checking of temperature and other toxic gases inside the tunnel, confined space, and TBM cutter head to ensure that levels remain within permissible exposure limits.

Support the HSE Manager in ensuring HSE compliance and perform regular HSE audits in the areas of vessel operations. Attend pre-job, planning, and client meetings as required on HSE-related matters. Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, and enforce compliance with refinery-specific safety standards (API, NFPA, OSHA). Participate actively in refinery shutdowns, turnarounds (TAR), and start-up safety planning and execution. Identify operational hazards (process safety risks, flammables, toxic gases) and ensure implementation of control measures. Support Emergency Response Teams during drills and real emergencies. Ensure right-of-way (ROW) safety, trenching, excavation, lifting, and backfilling activities follow safe practices. Physically able to conduct site inspections, participate in emergency drills, and climb scaffolding, tanks, or confined spaces as necessary.

Coordinate with site management and an approved site consultant to establish site traffic rules that comply with the local roads. Review pipeline construction methods (trenching, welding, hydrotesting, tie-ins) to identify hazards. Enforce isolation and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures before pipeline interventions. Monitor cathodic protection safety and ensure chemical handling during pipeline operations follows MSDS guidelines. Manage heavy equipment safety and ensure lifting plans and certificates are in place. Ensure safe execution of precommissioning activities, including cleaning (chemical, mechanical), flushing (air, water, nitrogen), hydrotesting, leak testing, and drying operations. Enforce permit systems for energization and pressure testing activities. Ensure that vendors and subcontractors perform according to pre-commissioning safety plans and risk assessments.

Review and comment on the contractor's proposed method statements and task risk assessments to ensure compliance with the agreement. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and mplementation of corrective actions. Accident incident investigation and submission of report within the expected time frame. Manage commissioning hazards such as introduction of hydrocarbons, high-pressure systems, rotating equipment, and high-voltage energization. Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, and Client teams for handover of systems with full safety compliance. Provide safety leadership during live plant handovers, energization sequences, flare system commissioning, and first oil or first gas introduction.

Manage and maintain the HSE aspects of the permit to work (PTW) system to ensure compliance to QP HSE standards and regulations. Develop and conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and site-specific safety trainings (e.g., H2S Awareness, Emergency Response, Permit-toWork training). Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, and Risk Assessments workshops. Prepare and maintain all safety reports including Daily Safety Reports, Incident Reports, and Weekly HSE Statistics. Ensure full compliance with client HSE Management Systems and International Standards.

Prepare safety orientations, safety training, and job site inspection procedures. Direct or assist in the development of specialized education and training materials. Conduct specialized safety and environmental training programs to communicate hazard control information. Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in the workplace. Safety precautions while entering confined spaces like vessels, crude oil tanks, fire water tanks, storage tanks, and pipelines. Reports to HSE Manager / Project HSE Lead / Commissioning Manager. Coordinates with Construction Teams, Commissioning Teams, Operations Teams, Contractors, and Client Representatives.
