Job Role:
• Conduct Routine and STAT Biochemistry tests as well as Covid-19 test
• Perform the Daily, Weekly and Monthly Maintenance of laboratory machines (Cobas 6000, Osmometer Model 3250 and ID NOW for Covid-19 test)
• Follow up and monitor Pipette calibration annually in Rashid Laboratory Units
• Maintaining a regular inventory of all the stocks and assets & controls availability with a valid expiry date
• To review & document:
- Levey Jennings control charts on daily basis and printing/saving at the month end
- Corrective action of internal quality control on daily basis, after 6 points bias
- Follow up Calibration frequency & documentation as per manufacturer recommendations
• Updating validation reports and any other documents in EP-Evaluator
• Maintain confidentiality for all patient’s results
• Comply to policies & procedures of the Lab at all times
Job Role:
• Receiving specimens to perform routine tests on such material as blood, urine and body fluids; Conducting tests in such fields as Microbiology, Immunology, Serology & Biochemistry according to established procedures.
• Setting up, adjust and operating standard laboratory equipment, for example centrifuges, titrators, pipetting machines and pH meters; preparing smears, stains and slides for microscopic analysis
