Role
As an IT administrator, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the company's IT network, servers and security systems. Key Responsibilities
System monitoring
New accounts set-up and active directory administration
Design new computer systems system and server performance
Run reports on system performance for team and wider organization
Optimize processes and lead process improvement
Manage staff and user credentials and frameworks
Troubleshoot technical issues
Create and implement training for staff
Coordinate and provide support for Firewall and network system
Ensure systems are secure and protected from breach or viruses
Risk mitigation planning
Role
Maintaining and installing Computer Networks based around Microsoft server technologies. Working as a part of a team, operating in a fast and challenging 24x7 environment
Key Responsibilities
Primary responsibility of handling Network Management
To plan, design, implement, maintain and troubleshoot various client networks
Responsible for executing successfully various projects involving LAN and WAN integration
To configure various Cisco based routers and switches
Managing Network virtualization through Multiple VLAN configuration
Responsible to keep all documentation up to date and accurate
Responsible to communicate, collaborate and negotiate with the users, technical specialists, suppliers and other staff members
Working on multiple technical platforms such as Mainframes, Two-tier and Three-tier Client Server Architectures
To maintain pre-packed software applications on the LAN
Configuring and testing the network connectivity with Ping and Telnet
To monitor, investigate and resolve all network problems; To understand and investigate the root cause of the problems on network
Proactively optimize & manage client networks and work towards reducing network outages and their durations
To install, set up, maintain network and also configure the peripherals, cabling and equipments accordingly as per the requirement
To monitor whether all the components are available for successful communication
To lead small projects and support other team members on larger/more complex projects
To implement, manage and support Network Information Systems
