Main task:
- Coaching operations in running equipment reliably and safely.
- Analysing Production Unit reliability performance data; communicating this data to relevant stakeholders.
- Acting as resource for risk assessment of threats in the database, providing a common link across the organization to help ensure consistency.
- Providing input to Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) studies (including RCM Living Program activities) and ensuring proper preventive maintenance plans.
- Developing the reliability strategy to close gaps in availability, capability and competence; thereby helping link the different facets of Reliability (RCM (preventive maintenance), Bad Actor lists, etc.) into one strategy.
- Providing input to and signing off on plant changes and projects as far as reliability is concerned.
- Identifying and contributing to work process improvement initiatives.

Main tasks:
i. Formulate, manage and strategies comprehensive Asset Integrity strategies and guidelines to realize maximum plant uptime and enhance Asset Integrity, Reliability & Assurance.
ii. Control and manage the multi discipline reliability and integrity studies and improvement initiatives to enhance plant availability, reliability and production in cost effective manner.
iii. Lead and manage Asset Integrity Management integrated with Process Safety Management (AI-PSM) toward operation excellence.
iv. Planning and delivery of Verification Scheme of AI-PSM.
v. Lead and oversee the Maintenance KPIs and scorecard performance.
vi. AI-PSM budgeting and control.
vii. Lead AI-PSM continuous Improvement plan

Project highlight & Achievements:

Asset Integrity Management (AIM) - Managing a task force team during initial assessment, design and implementation stage. Establishing and authoring AIM elements and manual. AIM awareness sessions within the business unit, contractors and JV partners. Direct reporting to AIM Steering committee headed by company Vice President. Post implementation assessment and review for continuous improvement. Merit performance (Annual Performance - Exceeding Requirements) in 2010 and 2011.

Process Safety Management (PSM) - Lead task force team in integration of Asset Integrity and Process Safety (AI-PSM). Delivered and integrated AIM and PSM accordance to PETRONAS AIPSM Mandatory Control Framework. Internal Subject Matter Expert panel for Mechanical Integrity.

CMMS Customization and Implementations - managing CMMS customization project involved with infrastructure upgrading (On/offshore hardware and software) and database.

The work is varied, ranging from periodical class and statutory surveys, and consultation services. Carry out Certification and verification for marine, and oil and gas systems and facilities to improve quality and increase safety. Work closely with owners, operators and construction yard to provide innovative, value-added solutions that help improve business performance throughout the design, construction and operation.

Project highlight & Achievements:

Malaysia Royal Navy, Submarine Syncrolift Docking System
Verification Engineer for construction and installation, worked along with designer (Rolls Royce PLC) from design stage to the completion, testing and successfully project handing over. Malaysian Royal Navy the first submarine facility.

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Tanker Refurbishment (Repair & Life Extension, RLE) Project
Project Engineer for LNG tankers RLE project. Design review, Fatigue Assessments, construction and refurbishment scopes. Project successfully delivered within client’s CAPEX and timeline.

Main tasks:
i. Classification and statutory, Repair and alteration surveys and new construction/ conversion survey
ii. Verification and consultation services
iii. Design appraisal, survey at manufacturers’ sites and commissioning.
iv. Surveying equipment manufacturers works for both verification and certification requirements
v. Auditing Maintenance Management system consist of RCM scheme

Operation & maintenance onboard Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) tanker including LNG cargo operation i.e. loading/ discharging operations. Strong technical skills in power plant (steam/ diesel generation including commissioning & shut down, hands-on maintenance, trouble shooting, spare and inventory and risk assessment.
Main tasks:
i. Implement Preventive and Predictive Planned Maintenance as per company procedures
ii. Implement Safety work system as per company HSE guidelines
iii. Implement work planning and control to support effective maintenance strategy
iv. Involved with shutdown, plant modification and Dry-docking activities
