attained skill in editing, reshaping, amending news items brought by
reporters editor in District Desk, Planning, controlling and guiding the newsmen, by
innovating fresher tools, tips and devices to keep discipline in the
workplace are my responsibilities. Keeping vigilant look on copies of the producers, news-room editors and reporters is my foremost duty.Supervising on accuracy in scroll writing is my attractive job. Habit of punctuality, discipline, truthfulness is my beauty. As a news editor, I try to do my best in the truest sense.

Achievement on Int’l affairs
I am familiar with almost all the international affairs as I
experienced these as sub-editor for at least 30 years. Iran-Iraq
conflict, Soviet invasion in Afghanistan, Bosnian civil war, recent world recession, Euro’s downfall at face of dollar’s up-surge, Kargil
skirmish, Indo-Pak war in 1965 and liberation war of Bangladesh are
known to me. Incidents of Latin America, Scandivinian countries,
Balkan and Nordic states including the day -to -day tales of
Middle-East countries are familiar to me. I feel comfort to translate
the stories on these topics independently.
Computer literacy attained
Ms Word, excel, excess, power point.internet, Bengali pronounciation, English lisnening, writing and speaking.
What my capacities
I am able to address any problem brought by any reporter who returns
from out -door and in-door. To solve the problem sincerely is my
additional capacity. To face any emergency call is my performance.
Working habit at any sort of stress is my practice.
What I achieved academically
a)Diploma in journalism from Bangladesh Press Institute, PIB in 1985, b) BA(Hons) in English under University of Rajshahi in 1982, c) HSC in Arts group from Kurigram Govt College in 1978 with 2nd division, d) SSC in Science group from Lalmanirhat Govt High School in 1973 with 1st division( letter marks in Mathematics). MA in English from Dhaka Jagannath University.
What acquired as specialization
I studied at Mission High School from KG class to class eight in
English medium during 1960 to 1967, I schooled for 5 years at Bangla Grammar School run by a noted grammarian Pandit Rabindra Nath at Lalmonirhat. Moreover, I have participated so many PIB training courses on reporting, sub-editing, parliament reporting, human-rights reporting arranged by Mass-line Communication from 1986 to ’95.
