Duties & Responsibilities
Performs preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and shut down maintenance activities on Instrumentation and Control systems.
I am having Experience in PLC, DCS, ESD control Systems like Honeywell TDC 3000, Triconex PLC for ESD System, Modicon (PLC) etc.… and its related appurtenances in accordance with operational procedures.
Troubleshoots, identifies, isolates, repairs instrument component failures, and returns system to normal operation with due regard to minimization of equipment down time.
Removes, dismantles, overhauls/repairs and installs electric, pneumatic, electronic or hydraulic control system such as control valves and actuators, measuring instruments in the field or in the workshop.
Responds to emergency call outs, identifies and repairs the faulty equipment to ensure equipment is returned to normal service.
Participates and contributes in development and implementation of corrective actions to improve reliability of Instrumentation and control system, in coordination with other departments and personnel.
Improves equipment availability and reliability, taking into consideration the age and obsolescence of current equipment.
Hands-on experience with Material Management & Plant Maintenance Systems in SAP.
Performs modification of electrical, instrument and electronic equipment’s as per the change requests and updates all related drawings to reflect the actual changes.
Complies with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies and procedures.
Reviews proposals and specifications for modification and new minor projects and providing recommendations. Preparing calibration & loop checking protocol as per ISO 9001 standard.
Having experience with pre-commissioning, Commissioning and start up activities.
Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of detailed execution plan for non-energized, energized testing activities, including schedule and budget fully integrated with the project schedule and budget including:
1. Commissioning procedures
2. System testing procedures
3. FAT coordination
4. SAT coordination
5. Commissioning Raw materials, intermediates and spares list
6. Functional Loop checks of system Instrumentation.
7. Function checking of actuated valves.
8. Facilitate test equipment calibration and certification verification
9. Assembling Loop Check field packages.
Trouble shooting, calibration, servicing, installation of all major instruments like pressure, flow, level, temperature etc….
Calibration of field instruments like transmitters (Electronic & Smart) for Pressure, flow, level, temperature Instruments, Indicators & All type of Switches.
Example: Rosemount Model No: 3051, 1151, 644, Honeywell SFC STS 103 (smart protocol field communicator)
Calibration in all types of control valves, Sov’s, Regulators, I/P converters, R/I Convertors, On/Off Valves, Pressure regulating valves, Air Filter Regulator.
Example: fisher, flow serve, valtek, BIFFI, Etc……..
Performing Preventive Maintenance (PM) job for field Instruments as per Check list.
Calibration and Servicing of SMART temperature transmitters and testing of RTD & all types of thermocouples and Thermostat.
Example: J, K type thermo couples, PT100 etc…….
Maintenance of Level Troll, DP Type level Transmitter.
Calibration of Pressure gauges, PCV and Air pressure filter regulator, carrying the CALIBRATION of all instruments like transmitters, control valve positioner, gauges and switches at the site.
Calibration of load cell based weighing system, Bagging Machine and Drumming Machine.
Maintenance, Instrument air compressor & dryer system.
Loop checking of transmitter’s switches and control valves. Expertise in handing HART (275, 375&475) Communicators for checking SMART Transmitter
Handling all the responsibilities which come under as a site in
Charge.
