Responsibilities
❖ Ensure chemical composition and mechanical properties of Incoming raw material such as welding consumable, Mild steel plates, customer supplied products and wear resistant plates.
❖ Ensure fabrication job- piping, shell, duct, cone etc as per standard specification.
❖ To monitor welder performance and conduct visual inspections of welds and repairs of welds in accordance with company procedures and international codes of practice-ASME SEC IX
❖ To identify and prepare Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) & PQR for jobs as per project specifications and verify Welders meet PQR requirements.
❖ To conduct fit up and dimension inspections as per inspection and Test Plan (ITP)
❖ Prepare and maintain QC reports, calibration reports, inspection report etc for future references.
❖ Analysis of material by testing mechanical properties of material- hardness, strength etc and chemist by spectro.
❖ Responsible for verification of calibration status of inspection, measuring and testing equipment.
❖ Co-ordinate with Third party Inspection, Client Inspection & interpret NDT report.
❖ Involved in project management activities-planning, coordination, TQM, QMS, MR.
❖ Attending internal audit and coordination with external audit for IS0 9001: 2008
❖ Quality Assurance to maintain ISO, involvement in QMS activities
❖ Raise In-process NCR and monitor the effectiveness of CA/PA and Assist to Management Representative to implement an effective ISO 9001-2008 QMS & EMS
❖ Analyze customer feedback and take CA/PA if necessary.
❖ Exposure in coating/painting application.
❖ Ensure Good working environment and safety in the plant area.

Responsibilities
❖ Responsible for coordination, execution of QC project- fabrication and erection of piping in LPG mounted bullet area.
❖ Responsible for all documentation works such as line history sheet (LHS), material traceability report (MTR), valve installation report, flange joint history sheet report, etc.
❖ To carry out all inspection and requirements as per ITP.
❖ Arranging loop statement and check list for mechanical clearance and witnessing Hydro-testing. Includes the Quality documentation reports and witnessing such as Radiography statement report, Dye-penetrated test report, Fit-up inspection report, weld-visual inspection report, and pipe installation report.
❖ Check Welding Process parameter against approved WPS.
❖ Inspect of consumable electrode Low hydrogen: baking, welder handling, batch no record
❖ Conduct Visual Inspection and release the accepted module.
❖ Supervises inspections, reports and the documentation issued and file the required Quality Records.
❖ Checking P&IDs, isometric according to the schedule of plan.
❖ Evaluates the qualifications of welders and Non Destructive Test-NDT technicians with regard to the activities assigned.
