Ø In- Process Inspection Activities,
Ø Checking Material conformation Result and Inspection as per API codes & Familiar with ASME codes like ASME -SEC II, V, IX B31.3, B31.1 and B 16.5
Ø Familiar with AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Code for steel,
Ø ISO 9001:2000 Certificates Related department activities,
Ø Having experience in different kind of Welding viz. TIG, ARC, special arrangements like water cooling and using special types of fixtures for specific welding processes.
Ø Verification of Isometrics Drawing, Punch list Verification.
Ø Witness of Hydro test, Pneumatic test, Fatigue test & Vacuum test.
Ø Inspection of weld Fit-up, Weld Visual & NDT Requirements for pipelines, Pre heat, PWHT & related.
Ø Surveillance inspection for WQT, Electrodes and Processes.
Ø Verification of Mechanical punch list.
Ø Co ordinates for NDT, PMI, Hardness etc.,
Ø NDT Supervision and evaluation viz. Radiography, film review, supervising PT, UT, MT testing and interpreting the results with Customer/ 3rd Party Inspection Agencies.
Responsibilities:
« Attending Kick of Meeting.
« Preparing Inspection test plan
« Assisting QA Manager to Preparing Welding procedure specification (WPS) & Procedure Qualification Record (PQR).
« Raising Technical queries (TQ) for clarification of the fabrication/Construction drawings.
« Witnessing Welder Qualification Test and Destructive & Non-Destructive Testing.
« Performing material receiving inspection and Verification of Material Test Certificate with applicable code requirement.
« Preparing Inspection Reports and Manufacturer Document Record(MDR)
« Assisting QA Manager in planning, conducting, Reporting, and follow up of audit reviews, assessments and corrective actions.
