Managing the day-to-day activities of audit engagements of various clients;
Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners;
Identify performance improvement opportunities while reviewing;
Interact with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient;
Understand and utilize KPMG’s Audit Methodology and Audit tools;
Manage and supervise audit seniors, associates and interns on engagements; and
Oversees all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion.

Leads engagement teams through the planning, execution and completion stages of engagements;
Frequent liaisons with the client at the planning stage, during the field work and at the finalization of audit and communication of relevant matters to persons at appropriate level of responsibility;
Finalization of the audit including analysis of financial statements and investigation of significant ratios and trends to achieve overall audit satisfaction.
Delegates work to other members of the audit team, ensuring associates understand their responsibilities and have received appropriate on-the-job training/coaching and prepares or reviews work papers and drafts of the financial statements;
Implementing Grant Thornton Audit Methodology (Horizon) and software (Voyager and Tbeam) in all the audit and review engagements as required by Grant Thornton International; and
Oversees all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion.
