Experienced in the inspection of following:
•Reviewing ITP, Method statements, proposed WPS, QA procedures, preparing QC procedures with reference to the DGS(Design General Specification). Assessing the CV’s of all kind of Inspectors & Engineers. Preparing & Reviewing documents required for PQT.
•Piping and fitting materials (of various grades) such as flanges, elbows, tees, weld
•Structural steel materials of various grades.(Offshore platforms)
•Witness the Hydro- testing and Pneumatic testing.
•Welded/Fabricated Piping items and Structural items.
•Reviewing RT films & witnessing Auto UT.
•Monitoring Automatic, Semiautomatic & Manual welding.
Experienced in Fabrication, Installation, Testing related to Pipelines, Station Piping, and Structures etc.
Familiar in using international codes, standards and specifications i.e.ASME, ASTM, API, standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Monitoring / Witnessing all the Welding, Fabrication & Erection related activities as per client approved Inspection & Test Plans, Quality Control procedures.
•Inspection of incoming materials and reviewing test certificate as per purchase order, vendor specification and ensuring complying with specified requirement for the code
•Inspection of piping materials identification as per isometric drawings.
•Witnessing of activities like PQR, welder’s qualification Tests and preparation of PQR records and WQT certificates.
•Stage wise inspection before, during and after fabrication.
•Review of radiographic films, witnessing UT, MPI, DPI, Hardness, PWHT and review of test reports.
•Witness the destructive tests such as tensile, bend, Impact, Nick break & SSCC tests etc.
•Preparing and maintaining QA/QC documents inspection activities from fit-up, weld visual, NDT reports, pressure test reports
•Identifying the root causes of the welding related problems and taking the corrective and preventing action.
•Monitoring the welder’s performance through repairs & controlling
•Witnessing of Weld repair activities as per client approved WPS.
•Line walk and Punch List preparation before Hydro Test
•Review of Hydro test packages
•Witnessing of Hydro testing, Pneumatic testing as per client approved procedures.
•Reinstatement of Piping systems after completion of all hydro testing activities
•Verification Mechanical completion Package / Inspection Record Books.
•Issue of Non- conformance reports & verification of Corrective/Preventive action
•Liaison with client inspectors for inspections of Hold and Witness Point.
•Attend construction & client meetings
•Inspection of Tie-In welding activities.

Reviewed welding procedure qualifications records and welding procedure specifications as per
Client requirements, Witnessed the welder qualification tests for stainless and carbon
Steels. Piping and Quality surveillance on daily production welding, witnessing NDT activities
(MT, UT, PT) and reviewed RT films & NDT reports. Reviewed Hydro testing packages and released
for hydro testing.Witnessed the Hydro testing.
