In Canada, I designed methods and helped highschool teachers -- across all subject-areas -- to input more literacy skills within their curriculum and daily lessons.
In Kuwait, I helped schools improve their curriculum, instruction, staff performance, developed official Handbooks/Policies etc.
Responsible for the design and supervision of all aspects of an ESL university program.
Main duties included: Curriculum development and modification, staff recruiting & training &supervision, creation of assessments- and learning materials, program data collection and reporting of results, communication with owners / senior management, budgeting, advertising, dealing with student behavior infractions and concerns
I was responsible for designing, implementing, and and supervising all literacy-related programs -- with a particular focus on establishing a new ESL program for 2 school divisions; additionally, I served as part of the admin team -- responsible for staff supervision, dealing with student concerns and providing professional development.
