MVOG(Mobile Video Optimization Gateway) is the gateway responsible for optimizing the content delivered to the clients from the upstream servers while monitoring the client bandwidth and delivering the content as per the respective bandwidth. Resulting into bandwidth saving for the operator as well as smooth streaming for clients.
IVOG (Internet Video Optimization Gateway) is similar to MVOG but it optimizes the content for PC and Macs instead of mobiles. Since, the line between PC and Mobile device is growing thinner, IVOG is also used for streaming on mobile phones.
