Leading a team of Rural Infrastructure Engineer/Sub Engineers for implementation of the Infrastructure, Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation projects in the District.
Assisting in the planning and routine assignment for smooth execution of the approved Project by the District Administration.
Preparation and approval of Annual Work Plan for implementation of schemes in line with annual physical and financial targets.
Assisting Stakeholders in Progress Review Meetings, Coordination Meetings, Technical Evaluation Committee Meeting and District Development Committee meetings.
Coordination with Third Party Validation (TPV) Team, for improving the quality of community driven developmental schemes by timely response to the Early Warning Reports (EWRs).
Verification of MBs fo timely release of different installments to the community
Leading a team of District Engineer for implementation of the construction of about 200 School Buildings in District Muzaffargarh of Punjab Province.
Assisting The District Engineers and Community Development Coordinators in their planning and routine assignment for smooth execution of the Project.
Approval of Work Plans, Material Submittals and others Request submitted by the contractor.
Ensuring Execution of the work as per drawings and technical specifications
Progress and Quality review meetings with the contractors.
Monitoring of the District Engineers activity through Management Information System MIS and through routine site visits in the District.
Reporting to the Senior Management on Daily, Weekly and monthly Basis regarding the progress and Quality matters.
Inspected and supervised all civil works ranging from excavation to finishing and ensured strict compliance of work with Approved Drawings, Project Technical Specifications (PTS), Approved Submittals, Method Statements, QA/QC Plan and HSE Plan.
Closely monitored construction works, concrete pours and continuously checked materials delivered to site, ensured compliance with QA/QC procedures and ensured all tests are carried out as per contract requirements.
Conducted and witnessed various site and laboratory tests for various material, viz. concrete (slump, compressive strength, temperature), selected fill material for back filling (sieve analysis, Proctor test (for determination of MDD & OMC), Atterberg limits, Field Density Test - using both Nuclear and Sand Cone methods, Moisture content etc.), water leakage test for water proofing and plumbing system etc.
Reviewed MEP drawings and attended regular meetings with MEP team for proper coordination of Civil and MEP works at the time of execution.
Preparing request For Material Inspection (RMIs) by inspecting the material delivered on site for compliance with Approved Submittals and PTS.
Preparation Request For Inspection (RFIs) for all activities on site.
Maintained record of all documents including, but not limited to, approved Shop Drawings, Approved Submittals, RFIs & RMIs QA/QC tests on site & laboratory, Daily and Weekly Progress Reports etc.
Prepared the weekly photographic progress and activities report and reported to the Project Manager.
Checked and processed sub contractor’s monthly Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs) as per the terms and conditions of contract and work done on site.
Reviewed work schedule and ensured overall work progress and ongoing activities are in strict compliance with Project’s Master Schedule. Identified critical activities and instructed contractor for expediting in case of delay.
Correspondence with sub contractor’s on issues relating to construction viz. Progress, Quality and Safety etc.
Identified work Non-Conformities by issuing NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and Site Instructions to the contractor and ensured immediate rectification in strict compliance with Project Technical Specifications and the Method Statements.
Closely monitored site activities and site conditions on daily basis to find out QA/QC non-conformances of Contractor and took appropriate remedial actions and reported to Project Manager.
Carried out final inspection, prepared “Punch List” and ensured all snags are rectified as per PTS and the Method Statements.
Preparation of As-built drawings to ensure all details are covered therein.
Attended all meetings with Consultant and client and prepared responses.
Supervision & checking of all the activities (ranging from excavation to finishing) being carried out at site as per drawings & specifications.
Monitored various tests at site for the geotechnical investigation of the soil strata.
Also carried out various laboratory tests for all the construction material being used at site, e.g. cement, bricks, soil, aggregates, concrete, steel etc. for compliance with project specification requirements.
Verified the bar bending schedules, submitted by the contractors.
Processed the running bills of contractors as per drawings & work done at site.
Decision making at site related to work.
Preparation of daily & weekly progress reports and keeping record of the daily site activities.
Keeping the records of contractors’ bills & other office documentation.
Correspondence with contractors regarding construction and contractual issues.
• Coordinate with communities for the rebuilding of Houses in the earthquake affected areas.
• Regular Monitoring of the construction work carried out by the communities ensuring adherence to the seismic resistant designs and code of construction, established by Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority
• Providing regular technical support to the communities to ensure that the infrastructure meet the engineering ERRA standards for earthquake resistant construction.
