Duties and responsibilities:
• Monitoring and administering the QA/QC Plan or Programmed and ensuring incorporated materials on construction projects are in compliance with the plans and specifications.
• Assuring that the work is performed as required by the contract and meets or exceeds the required qualities.
• Assuring the acceptable quality of materials, processes, and workmanship in the project work.
• Assisting Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer such as steel reinforcement checking same as in construction drawing.
• Issue materials receiving report for the delivered materials.
• Waterproofing checking underground level and in wet areas in the building.
• Following up the concreting works in a presence of the Engineer or Consultant, slump test and cubes preparation for the compressive test.
• Finishing work checking in a presence of the Engineer or Consultant, block, plaster, painting, tiling, kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, ceiling and light fittings.
• Maintain standards of safety and comply with Company’s Health, Safety and Environment Management System requirements.
• Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Managing parts of construction projects
• Overseeing overall works in coordination with all related departments such as MEP…etc.
• Setting out sites and organizing facilities
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
• Supervising contracted staff
• Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall Project manager
• Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
• Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering of materials
• Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
• Overseeing quality control to be implemented at site
Conduct inspections of work and materials on site.
Sign off Inspection and Test Request (ITR) forms following inspections and approvals of work or material.
Raise NCRs to address a quality non-compliance issues.
Resolve quality issues through identification of corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
Coordinate with Subcontractors and Suppliers on site to ensure that work is properly carried out.
Maintain all site generated quality records.
Review and implement method statements, checklists and Inspection Test Plan.
Help in closing of any external NCRs.
Investigate problem areas related to quality in order to prevent poor quality.
Coordinate with the Consultant Representatives on quality matters.
Prepare and follow up on closing of snags during hand over.
Assist the QA/QC Engineer in identifying and arranging training on site.
Conduct inspections of work and materials on site.

5. Accomplishment of construction project results by defining project purpose and scope; calculating resources required; establishing standards and protocols; allocating resources; scheduling and coordinating staff and sub-contractors; evaluating milestone assumptions and conclusions; resolving design problems; evaluating and implementing change orders.
6. Approving construction projects by conducting inspections at critical phases; obtaining approvals from client/consultant.
7.Preventing fines and interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes.
8.Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
9.Updating job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging construction practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
10. Enhancing organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
