I had got commission in Bangladesh Navy in the Executive Branch on 01 January 1990. I have retired from the Navy on 18 July 2021 as Lt Commander. During my 31 and a half year of service, I had served ISPR(under MOD) for two years as Assistant Director(News), Bangladesh Coast Guard for 13 and a half year and UN Mission in D R Congo for 1 year as Military Observer. In Bangladesh Navy, I was Commanding Officer and Executive Officer (Second in Command) of various ships. I was also the Executive Officer of BN Dockyard for 1 year. In Bangladesh Coast Guard I had served in various appointments like Station Commander, Executive Officer of Base, Chief Staff Officer of Coast Guard East Zone, Assistant Director (Plans) in Coast Guard Headquarters etc.
I was awarded with President Coast Guard Medal Sheba for my outstanding performance in Coast Guard. I also received Letter of Commendation from DG, Coast Guard for my achievements in Land Acquisitions Matters .
