• • Responsible for performing variety of duty of cost engineering functions such as quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, estimating, cost control, tender and contract documents preparation, forecasting and cost reporting.
• Preparation of monthly valuations, interim payments certifications and handling subcontractor packages.
• Monitoring monthly cost reports including budgets, certified to date, paid to date, variations approved, variations in process, variation anticipated, etc.
• Tracking, recording, identifying, pricing, submitting, agreeing & negotiating of variations/claims.
• Verifying the measurement and value of work completed to ensure that payments are made correctly
• Assisting the Commercial Manager / Contracts Manager in all his responsibilities.
• Preparing the Final Accounts with all supporting documentation.
• Responsible for performing variety of duty of cost engineering functions such as quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, tender and contract documents preparation, estimating, cost control, budget preparations, forecasting and cost reporting.
• Identifying, pricing, submitting, agreeing & negotiating of variations/claims.
• On-site verification of Final Accounts submitted by the subcontractors and suppliers, adjusting as necessary and providing recommendations to the Client.
• Drafting estimates / cost plans for review and finalization with senior management.
• Preparing of cost estimate for retail, F&B, and other scope.
• Attending the progress meetings and provide updates to the team.
• Undertaking market review / research for compiling and updating unit rates for estimating.
• Preparing the Final Accounts with proper documentation.
• Assisting the Estimation Manager for BOQ analysis & pricing, tendering procedure & rate analysis/breakdown.
• Scrutinizing, reviewing the tender drawings/documents for discrepancies, additional BOQ items/scope and incorporating within the tender offer.
• Quantity take-off for all civil elements based on pricing preambles and compiling the tender BOQ with description.
• Preparing the tender packages for enquiries & preparation of cost estimates.
• Maintaining the vendor database, floating inquiries to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Following-up tender enquiries, analyze and compare quotations received at bid stage and clarifying exclusions/qualifications within. Sending queries & RFI’s to the consultant
• Preparing of commercial comparison statement of subcontractor quotations.
• Arranging the technical & commercial package of tender submission. Compilation of tender / bid offer submissions.

• Scrutinizing, reviewing the tender drawings/documents for discrepancies, additional BOQ items/scope and incorporating within the tender offer.
• Preparing the tender packages for enquiries.

• Preparing & agreeing payments applications/valuations so that payment is received in accordance with the terms of the contact conditions; Work Progress.
• Maintaining the logs for claims and thereby agreeing variations / change orders.
• Preparing the estimates for retail, F&B, & other scope.
• Preparing, compiling the variation claim document with all relevant substantiation to the satisfaction of the Engineer or Employer.
• Analyzing and recommending the subcontract payment application based on actual progress of subcontractor work.
• Visiting the site as and when required to monitor progress.
