Responsibilities:
Directing Engineering teams & Technology Delivery functions for 2 different departments (CBT and MBO) with team strength of around 60 members
Developing long-term product plan, managing release planning cycles for all products; consistently meeting all product deliverables
Implementing tools & processes to optimize product engineering throughput and quality; delivering solution of the highest quality possible
Understanding products with their interrelationships & collective relevance to business and ensuring appropriate availability & stability to the business
Establishing a solid project framework and excellent development & release processes; collaborating across functions to implement engineering initiatives, estimate efforts, identify roadblocks and ensure timely delivery
Setting-up continuous integration environment, involving structured source-control, nightly build management, release management, defect management, static code analysis, test frameworks, code coverage, so on
Steering efforts in setting objective, coaching and performance evaluation of employees along with promotions and compensation review

Steered migration of products from TPF to Open Back-end Platform
Successfully developed a BI Reporting Solution for key customers; plugged in Hadoop systems to handle the Data part with UI as Front-end
Built a new platform to enable quicker implementation for low cost carriers like Indigo, Spice Jet; integrated the content to Amadeus
Improved companies' performance through strategic hiring; developed process to hire right candidates for Amadeus for consistency in hiring
