Managing Ladies footwear product line within the product group of Footwear business, with an objective of maximizing sales and profits of the category.
Ensuring adequate ROSE (Return on Stock Employed) is achieved.
Planning and rationalizing mark-downs so as to liquidate non-moving stocks without harming the brand.
Managing budgeted expenditure within agreed limits.
B.2 Operational
Monitoring sales, stock and intake for each individual style / option within a category so as to forecast realistically in line with the stock availability, ageing of stocks and trends.
Developing product line plans in the areas of pricing, promotion, assortment and allocation.
Monitoring and reviewing the product performance with an eye on eliminating or introducing new products in line with the market trends.
Developing product briefs for the supply base in line with the agreed looks and trends.
Ensuring SKU stock of each option matches selling ratio and size balancing takes place for repeat buys.
Monitoring and reviewing the performance of category business plans by using appropriate scorecard for forecasting and measuring category performance.
Identifying and planning the performance potential of each option.
B.3 People Development
Providing consistent direction and support to achieve stretch targets.
Retaining and engaging the talent employed and build a collaborative and high performance team.
Generating innovative ideas and solutions

Initiating promotional tie-ups and schemes with Brands.
Providing and initiating structured product knowledge to Retail.
