Import responsibilities
• Successfully executed 97 Import vendor contracts under licenced brand (Amazon Basics) with 5 P3P (Premium 3rd Party Sellers) under Home, Automotive, Home Improvement, Kitchen, Sports, Pets, Furniture, L&G, Luggage & Large Appliances (TV, Refrigerator, Washing Machine, Microwave etc.)
• Defined HSN Classification and mechanism for ASIN/SKU level cost accounting under FOB import for Ocean Freight, Custom Clearance, Trpt and VAS
• Successfully implemented demand planning Instock procedures for 5000+ SKUs for Amazon (Private Labels), leveraging forecasts, vendor lead time and Inventory levels to make informed buying decisions and import fulfilment strategies.
• Contract management of P3P sellers with Freight Forwarder, Customs House Agents, Transporters & VAS providers, including regulatory approvals from nodal agencies i.e. Legal Metrology, CPCB, DGFT etc
• Negotiating and finalizing ocean freight rates based on RFQ on quarterly basis
• Optimized Ocean freight through buyer's consolidation at origin with 40HC container, resulting in freight reduction of 1200 bps in Freight as % of PCOGS (6% V/s 18%) Instock Responsibilities
• Lead Import supply chain and Instock Planning and forecasting for Amazon Private brands for P3P sellers i.e. Appario and ETrade for CE, PC, Ofice products, Wireless accessories, Home, Automotive and L&G.
• Maintained optimal inventory levels across clusters by maximizing in-warding quantities 99% at Cross Dock FCs, and managing regional instock of 78% achieving inventory balancing and optimizing delivery promises
• Increased inventory availability by reducing Sales Weighted Out of Stock (SWOOS) for CEPC YoY by 440bps (8.6% FY23 V/s 13% FY'22) and Other Hardlines YoY 500bps (10% FY23 V/s 15% FY'22)
• Improved regional availability of Inventory of Private brands for CE, PC, Ofice Products & Wireless Accessories YoY by 300 bps (70% FY'23 V/s 67% FY'22) and Other Hardlines by 700 bps (70% FY'23 V/s 63% FY'22) by supporting P3P seller on improving Instock for ASIN's
• Head Logistics for Airtel DTH for Pan India rollout of commercial launch of DTH services Managed Tarif classification of goods and exemption under FTA (free Trade agreements), along with regulatory compliance in India
• Defined Operating expenditure plan for the year through Annual operating plan for Logistics
• Finalized Freight Forwarder, CHA, Transporter & 13 State Warehouses
• Managed 37 Installation Stores for distribution of dish and accessories to end customer
• Managed distribution of activation vouchers and recharge vouchers to pan India distributors centrally from Delhi
