Achievements/Tasks
+ POLICY ANALYSIS
• Support the Head of Cooperation and Team Leaders in policy coherence in the indicative
programmes and with the policies of other Directorates general of the Commission and
EEAS and the Jordan Development priorities.
• Support all sections in sharing information on topics of common interest, such as national
policies, national budget execution, international agreements of the country and all other
matter of importance for EU’s development cooperation.
• Contribute to policy dialogue with the national authorities related to EU programmes.
• Support policy dialogue with relevant ministries, agencies, donors, lenders and other
stakeholders.
• Facilitate the Team Europe approach with the EU Member States.

+ PROGRAM / PROCESS / PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Contribute to the internal management of the programme implementation through the
maintenance of programme management tools, such as project overviews.
• Coordinate on behalf of the Cooperation section the reporting and planning of the
Delegation (EAMR, RMF, etc).
• Contribute to the coordination of the interactions and the support programme to the Ministry
of Planning and other relevant ministries by preparing and updating overview tables of the
programming and implementation of EU cooperation programmes, analyse reports activity
and preparing discussion papers where relevant.
• Contribute to the coordination with EU Member States by preparing information to be shared
in this regard and prepare or update a calendar and roadmap for coordination, in particular
on Team Europe Approach/ Global Gateway.
• Guide on templates of main documents to be submitted to headquarters in collaboration with
the Finance, Contacts and Audit Section.
• Manage, plan and coordinate the use of the Global Allocation budget.


+ PROGRAM / PROCESS / PROJECT MANAGEMENT
• Assist in launching, managing and monitoring calls for proposals, tenders, evaluation and
selection of projects.
• Ensure the follow-up of the implementation of projects and the performance of project
managers and partners, monitor contractual obligations (via periodic reviews, audits,
reporting and assistance, etc.) and gather and handle external expertise.
• Deal with horizontal activities, concertation and networking aspects of the programme and
its projects.

+ EXTERNAL RELATIONS

• Maintain good and effective contacts with the regional operators in the field, with the national authorities and institutions in the region, with representatives of the diplomatic missions of the Member States and international organizations active in the region, with representatives of the principal international donors, with NGOs and other non-official actors in Europe and in the Neighbourhood region.

• Co-ordinate, share information and participate in working groups and task forces related to the assigned portfolio.
• Contribute to the coordination of programmes and projects with regional or national authorities and development partners.
• Promote the concepts of aid effectiveness through coordination, harmonization, alignment and sector wide approaches.
• Prepare and assist in missions from Headquarters.

+ INTERNAL MANAGEMENT and COORDINATION (DG/Service/Company)
• Observe, monitor and report regularly and in timely fashion (including early warnings on
potential disputes) to Headquarters on sectoral issues, as well as in response to any specific
requests.

+ EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION (general)
• Produce and disseminate the results of projects at workshops, seminars, conferences and
• other public events.
• Extract and disseminate best practices and facilitate exchange of experiences.
• Contribute to the production of publications.
• Deliver public speeches on behalf of the EU Delegation at national and regional fora and dealing with media as may be required.
• Contribute to the proper visibility of the Delegation’s project activities.

1. Project 1
Smile Carvana (Ahlan Simsim, the IRC's partnership) cooperated with Measurement and Diagnosis Centre (MDC)
Achievements/Tasks
• Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information.
• Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes.
• Liaise with donors/stakeholders to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
• Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets.
• Help prepare budgets.
• Analyze risks and opportunities.
• Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
• Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g., contracts and terms of the agreement).
• Doing purchase requests for Caravan equipment’s, office supplies, assets, and gifts.
2. Project 2
Title: Coordinator for English Language Development Services
Unified Language Cooperated with Brigham Young University. Jordan Branch (USA)
Program Operations:

• Coordinates language proficiency testing (e.g. VTEST) for the purpose of identifying students that qualify for English Language Development programs.
• Monitors inventory of instructional materials, equipment, and supplies for the purpose of identifying required items to provide instruction the in accordance with established curriculum.
• Research new material and recommends pilot projects for the purpose of providing the most effective program for the students.
• Create surveys and collect data on student attendance, participation, and other variables
• Providing detailed updates to project managers or other stakeholders.
• Ensuring team members have the supplies and resources they need to complete their assigned tasks on time and within their budget limits.
• Ordering necessary office supplies.
• Report monthly to ELT Projects Managers and Consultants on developments arising from project implementation.
• Coordinate meetings, including travel arrangements and expense reports, edit meeting minutes, file all project documents
• Participation in Project technical meetings. (Internal and external meetings)
• Facilitate communication between the different actors involved in the project development

Staff Supervision:

• Coordinate with the Project Manager and the specialist to develop, monitor, and update a detailed project schedule which includes phases, resources, tasks, and deadlines
Monitoring the daily progress of projects
• Foster effective teaming and collaboration within the staff and other departments in service of English Learners, (Special Education, Teaching and Learning, Interpretation and Translation).
• Create effective communications with staff to assure that all staff is timely and effectively informed of project policies, issues, guidance, and operational requirements and expectations.

Program Evaluation, Analysis, and Feedback:

• Lead and assist in periodic assessment of program effectiveness and/or changing needs.
• Assist in supporting the Institute with strategies and tools to effectively monitor the needs of English Learners (state assessments, grades, on track for graduation).

3. Project 3 - School for International Training (SIT)

Technical Information Counselling and Legal Assistance Assistant, ICLA في Norwegian Refugee Council

• Conducts regular field visits to the projects.
• Monitors projects and tracks progress toward indicators.
• Preparing and supporting legal assistance to NRC beneficiaries (Syrians and other Nationalities Refugees).
• Plan and Organize Donor visits in the field during NRC activities.
• Organize Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with different groups in the community to identify major needs and gaps and report back to the accountability TL and Field Assistant.
• Following up with Local partners on implementing activities, including the monitoring of work plans and activities.
• Supporting other projects as livelihoods and shelter beneficiaries about their work right.
• Undertaking day-to-day data collection and data entry related to field activities and participating in field mapping exercises.
• Delivering legal awareness sessions and individual counselling on legal and civil documentation, housing, land and property rights, and work rights.
• Act as a focal point for external referrals and services mapping in our assigned geographical area of operation.
a) Focal Point for International Labour Organization, ILO
• Doing the service mapping for the Beneficiaries' needs and Local CBOs overall Amman geographical Area.
• Preparing the CBO’s Agreements and PR’s.
• Conducts quality assurance exercises as requested by the line manager.
• Closely work with the project volunteer team to facilitate the preparation and implementation of field activities, events, assessments, and support:
Tasks include:
a) Directing the Volunteers Modality and managing administrative work.
b) Leading the recruitment process of volunteers.
c) Planning and executing volunteers' induction.
d) Building and editing questionnaires in Kobo, creating paper forms, ensuring proper translation to Arabic.
e) Conduct Training and Refresher Sessions as needed.
f) Preparing training materials on assessment indicators and data collection practices, facilitating training sessions with field volunteers and non-filed volunteers
g) Executing quality check exercises, and monitoring the exercises
h) Ensuring proper and efficient documentation & Reporting.
i) Coordinating monthly payments - PR with Finance.
j) Implementing data cleaning for quantitative and/or qualitative data and carrying out follow-ups with volunteers
k) Coaching
l) Preparing and developing status reports.
• Support MEAL department to do ICLA analysis exercises.
• Support TLO's and external Lawyers to conduct their activities out and inside Amman.

Technical Communication Multimedia Officer في Norwegian Refugee Council

• Create captions for photos in both Arabic and English.
• Take the lead in organizing field visits to NRC programs inside and outside the camps (Education, shelter, Livelihood, Youth, ICLA) for collecting pictures.
• Ensure all visual content produced for the communications unit is in line with NR’s global guidelines before publishing content online and sharing it with donors.
• Create photo essays and feature stories for the communication unit.
• Taking the lead for NRC’s communications online database and uploading weekly batches of edited photographs with captions for use by programs, communication team, Head Office, and Regional Office.
• Create content for NRC’s social media platforms; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and for NRC´s global website, and explore and utilize innovative and emerging communication tools and new media in support of the communications strategy.
• Manage the process of identification assessment, select beneficiaries for storylines, and then initiate contact with the selected individuals whose stories NRC wants to highlight for a specific campaign or media interest and then cover the story/ global campaign.
• Support in the planning of advocacy events when required.
• Ensure that communication documents are archived appropriately in an easily retrievable electronic based filing system.
• In coordination with the Policy and Advocacy Manager, build strong personal relationships with core local journalists to establish trusting and reliable connections with key Arabic news organizations.
• Review local media outlets and bring to the attention of the Policy and Advocacy Manager any stories of relevance to NRC’s core business or advocacy objectives on a daily basis.
• Guide donor visibility requirements, including approval processes, up-to-date logos, and visibility requirements, and with the support of the grants department, seek donor approval when required.
• Support programme teams to communicate success stories and program results in fulfilment of donor visibility requirements.
