Works at the Financial Audit Department, which is mandated by the Government of Dubai to monitor and audit the performance of government entities and business enterprises with government interest in various industries such as aviation, banking, hospitality, and real estate among others
o Prepare, manage and apply comprehensive and integrated audit programs to generate value added interim and annual reports on financial, compliance and performance matters
o Evaluate applicable policies, procedures and internal control systems, preparing and reviewing audit reports and building up constructive recommendations to be presented to the management
o Contribute to the Departments’ annual report which is reviewed by the Deputy Ruler of Dubai and submitted to the Ruler of Dubai
o Assess potential audit risks and perform special audit assignment whenever necessary
o Provide information and feedback from audit findings to decision makers in the Emirate, assisting them in taking actions
o Complement internal audit function of organizations while guarding the governments’ interests
o Integrate best practices and systems into audit programs
o Audit tax computations of foreign banks on behalf of the Department of Finance

Training within the technical staff training program under the supervision of a senior accountant. Studying all the rules, regulations, and policies related to the accounting work done by the corporation.
