During this era of COVID-19 and through my period of transition post MBA, I have returned to my prior consultancy and got involved in some interesting projects. The business structure allows me to work flexibly around my personal commitments and drive my own personal business dashboard. Since I have returned I have been involved with both, internal and external projects.
Internal Projects include:
i. Conceptualized Global's digitization vertical, designed a framework / methodology around Content Digitization and executed an internal certification program to upskilll partners and consultants
ii. Helped develop and design Exponential Growth Organization business vertical based on eXo strategy frameworks and methodologies
iii. Review of current internal processes such as: Consultant engagement, Junior Consultant development, product management, alliance management, digital marketing, among other projects
External Projects include:
i. Designing, development and opening of a business school / institute for an international Tourism Forum
ii. Involved in Channel Management projects to assist high growth companies entering new markets within MENA and SEA
iii. Developing e-Learning platforms for a major clients who are seeking new methods to develop and engage their talent pool
Worked with core strategy team and various business units to implement various initiatives focused on scaling growth
▪ Designed the value driver model of the ONE Insurance business vertical for the CFO and Investments Relations team in
preparation for Series C funding round
Developed a Go-to-Market Strategy for a new Banking Technology platform and presented recommendations to key internal
stakeholders globally over a webinar
▪ Completed training and obtained certification for Agile methodologies
Managed a portfolio of over 100 clients that brought in USD 10 Million revenue to the business group
▪ Increased value to client and bank by 15% increase in revenues by identifying cross-sell opportunities to improve customer

▪ Effectively handled several stress accounts, avoiding deterioration of asset portfolio, and recovery of approximately USD 10 Million
in lending through effective negotiation with clients by restructuring facility repayment, covenants, and parameters

The masters helped build a comprehensive understanding of Islamic economics principles and contracts. It also provided a detailed working knowledge of Islamic banking and insurance (Takaful) operations helping to understand from the beginning, how the broad principles of Islamic finance differ from conventional banking and insurance. It covers the theoretical aspects of Islamic finance in-depth and also deals with the practical applications of the concepts in the real world of finance.
The courses offered within the Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies (BMOS) degree follow a multidisciplinary approach to business and commerce. This means that, in addition to courses in business and commerce, students may also take courses in economics, mathematics, sociology, political science, history, geography, philosophy, psychology, and business ethics. In Management & Organizational Studies degree, the Global Commerce module is unique to King’s University College, and it acknowledges the extent to which global forces affect every business and every person.
