Duties & Responsibilities:
* Identifying and recommending
transportation and logistics service
improvement;
*Participate in the "on-call" rotation
schedule and respond to field
emergencies
*Maintaining justifiable transportation expenses by
restructuring functions, eliminating redundancies
and proper training of staff.
*Softrasys tracking and navigation software for
tracking deliveries, drivers activities, funds and
maintenance records
Transportation Management
* Scheduling routes and monitoring deliveries with
quality service; coordinating closely with sales,
procurement, customer service, and purchasing
departments to ensure timely deliveries.
* Direct activities related to dispatching, routing,
and tracking transportation of vehicles such as
delivery vans, company cars, and staff buses.
* Plan, organize, and manage the work of
subordinate staff to ensure that the work is
accomplished in a manner consistent with
organizational requirements.
*Ensure proper maintenance of all vehicles at all
times.
*Coordinate with Warehouse Workers to ensure
proper storage and distribution of products
Research and suggest cost-effective shipping
methods.
*Conduct regular safety audits on equipment
