Responsible for the commissioning of the instruments and its operation linked with DCS
Troubleshooting the instrument errors, the problems associated with loop check, simulation and calibration of instruments.
Responsible for Cable tray work, Cable laying, Instrument Installation, Cable termination, Panel Erection, Loop checking and Commissioning
Testing of each Instrument involved in the operation & control, Termination & commissioning of different process Instruments (Pressure, Flow, Temp Transmitter)
Having hands on experience on installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of various sensors and Analyzers.
Having real time experience in Loop checking, Sequence checking and Functional checking.
Having wide knowledge of Installing, Troubleshooting and commissioning of different types of valves.
Closely coordinating with Procurement department regarding expediting & timely delivery of purchased items.
Getting the work done by the contractor as per the scope of work & standard of project procedures.
Basic engineering activities like review of P&IDs and process datasheets, preparation of design basis etc.
Basic and detailed engineering, feasibility studies, Proposals, Man-hour estimation, site survey, procurement engineering etc.
Planning, Controlling, Monitoring and Schedule the work and efficiently organize the site / facilities in order to meet an agreed programme of deadlines by Reporting Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports.
Duties include Billing, approval of construction modifications, drawings and checking material quantities, types and suitability
In addition I have marked up as builds, verified calibrations and loop checks and generally been solving installation / design problems throughout the site.
Job includes fabrication of cable tray, Junction box Installation, laying of all types of cables, Instrument installation and calibration, Impulse tubing, Panel Erection, Loop checking and commissioning of all the systems.
Having experience of using various tools of different makes of RPM meter, Temperature sensor, Vibration meter, Insulation resistance meter, multimeter and HART communicator.
Ability to liaise with vendors and manufacturer supervisors.
Ability to liaise with owners and sub contractors.
Having experience in document preparation and management.
Having wide knowledge of Health and Safety Engineering
