Review, analyze and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, Bills of Quantity and specifications to facilitate or undertake detailed take offs in the format prescribed by the project method of measurement, for use within interim of final payment applications, variations, claims or subcontractor/supplier enquiries or payments.
Obtain daily or weekly site records, from operational staff, required for the purpose of pricing day works or preparing cost build ups
Prepare subcontracts evaluation statement & contractual claims
Evaluate and prepare subcontractor’s payment certificate
Identification and preparation of extra woks, claims & variations
Preparation of monthly progress invoice liaise with planner and submit client on time.
Inspecting and then valuing completed work.
Produce monthly cost & Value reports, quarterly reports and cash flow information.
Checking LPO’s for rate, quantity and correct cost code and advice procurement department if any changes need to be done and ensuring the best discount and payment term obtained.
Preparation of sub contract comprise and submit management for their review and discussion.
Handling of labour sub contractor & specialist sub contractor and their related payment.
Maintain the sub contractor payment & final settlement.
Undertaking costs analysis for estimates, variations & claims.
Inspecting and then valuing completed work.
Preparation of contractual charges & damages
Identify and value of variations, transferring these sums to valuations.
Maintain of all correspondence required on projects and submitted to managing QS for review.
Providing advice and guidance to staff in the preparation of works proposals, reviews and updates.
HVAC Design drawing and shop drawing co ordination with other services.
Guide the draftsman in ducting and piping works.
Maintain the correspondance log and indent log.
