My role was to look into
➢ HSE functions and oversight in relation to the construction team..
➢ Assist and development of the project Health and Safety Plan, Environment Plan and monitor for its
effective compliance.
➢ Review and develop HSE procedures including Emergency Responses.
➢ Ensure Client Permit to Work meets the requirements and implemented in accordance with
procedures.
➢ Risk Management and SIMOPS meeting within the Project Interface Group. Coordinate with the
Drilling Team of to carried out during the execution phases of the work in relation to both the
operations at the individuals site.
➢ Develop, review and assessment of risk management tools.
➢ Ensure effective monitoring of HSE field requirements, including participating in leadership safety
walks.
➢ Joining with PMC/PMT and Refinery Safety Engineer’s site tours.
➢ Carry out internal/external HSE audit with reference to all HSE issue such as Environmental
protection, hygiene/sanitation, fire prevention/protection measures, emergency exercises and
recommend measures.
➢ Roll out safety campaigns, practical demonstrations to workforce such as Scaffold
erection/dismantling, Work at height & 100 % tie off, Confined space entry, Hand injury, Drop object,
Fall from Height, Emergency Evacuation, Man & Machine Interface.
➢ Checking unsafe act & conditions of different activities such as fabrication, erection, scaffolding,
working at height, heavy lifting, radiography, hydro testing, Pneumatic Test etc.
➢ Ensure Daily Tool box talk / STA /STARRT for all the working groups by concern job supervisors
➢ Motivate the site supervision through behavior based safety approach and initiates the violation
notifications for repeated safety violations.
➢ Audit and Inspection for scaffolding, lifting appliances, power tools and hand tools etc.
➢ Inspection of all construction Vehicles and equipment’s for issuing safety certificates.
➢ Report near miss, substandard act and condition and recommend corrective measures.
➢ Investigation and reporting any accident/incident to trace out root cause and recommend necessary
remedial steps to prevent the reoccurrence.
➢ Encourage Project / Site management to produce Near miss reports and advice management for
improvement.
➢ Preparation and submission of client Monthly Safety Report, Internal weekly/Monthly Safety Reports
and Monthly Environment Reports.
➢ Road Safety: IVMS Monitoring, Tracking Drivers Records trough IVMS and Geofencing.
➢ To advice management on improvement of working condition and welfare facilities to prevent
occupational disease and organize periodical medical checkup.
➢ Supervised all Environmental Services throughout all facilities operated by the Project.
➢ Prepare and develop Environmental Aspect and Impact Register.
➢ Held regular meeting to discuss operational information and procedure update.
➢ Ensure compliance with environmental legislation's and keep up to date with Kuwait Environment
Public Authority (K‐EPA) regulations.
➢ Implementing all updated environmental services training programs.
➢ Preparation of an environmental presentation to train workers on the project and raise awareness on
environmental hazards.
➢ Developing and implementing environmental strategies and plans.
➢ Coordinating with management in all aspect of waste management pollution control, recycling,
environmental health conservation.
➢ Leading the implementation of Environmental policies and

Gas Development Package 1, is a joint venture between two (2) of the major players in Engineering
Procurement and Construction, Punj Lloyd and Tecnicas Reunidas, TRPLL responsible for all associate Pipe
line, Piping, Mechanical Erection, Tanks, Sub Station Buildings, Wellhead Installation, Electrical &
Instrumentation and Civil works.(Earth work, nine sub station buildings and fence works for satellites and
main pads.
