Global Credit Manager
Associated Foreign Exchange
Total years of experience :30 years, 2 Months
I now have global responsibility to ensure credit functions globally are functioning as they should. I ensure that proper policies and procedures are in place and credit authorities have been set to the right level. I also work on system and process improvements to ensure efficiency at the same time ensuring effectiveness.
The company is global in nature and I am tasked with overall Credit Risk management, including ensuring adequate procedures and policies are in place, assessment of customers for credit lines that could exceed AUD10M and management of customers and outstanding contracts. I have a strong risk management bias where my roll is to ensure the company's risk reward appetite is met and managed properly. I also monitor fraud risk to ensure the risk from internal fraud is mitigated. I add value by ensuring the correct type of business is accepted by the firm at the correct levels of remuneration and that excessive risk is not taken without sufficient reward.
