This could involve research, facilitating and conducting interviews, writing scripts, briefs, running orders, news or feature stories for a variety of clients in any of the mediums.
Work for the National Health Service within the Healthcare Commissioning Department. As part of my role I was involved in writing and editing the internal magazine about Aids and HIV - The African Drum. As editor it was my responsibility to ensure publication proceeded every month. I was able to gain vital qualities and skills during the spell with the magazine.
I was in charge of managing a small production team for a newly established TV Channel in London. My role included writing templates, running orders, Writing and editing the daily news and sports programme. I came away with strong editorial judgement, teamwork as well as project management experience. We were able as a team to achieve the launch with the required timescale. Produced and directed a Documentary Film about overseas nurses working in the UK - Filiipino Nurses in Britain. This was a most valuable experience from a variety of stand points such as: Project Management and Documentary Film Production as a whole.

How to write for Documentary and TV How to write for Radio, Online and print. Two parts to this course: Academic component supplemented by a practical Thesis: Documentary Film. My thesis is based on Filipino Nurses working in the UK.
