Responsibility:

•Develop and maintain close relationships with ship owners, 3rd Party Logistics Provider and brokers.

•Closely follow global sea trading and its impact on Wet bulk sector. Keeping an eye on market info for freight & time charter market for chemical tankers.

•Develop cost cutting strategy.

•Intra company co-ordination with production team helps in identifying ullage crisis and took corrective measure on management decision to ensure no ullage.

•Internal co-ordination of Logistics team with sales & marketing to achieve cost effective shipping schedules.

•Closely working with 3rd party logistics service providers and achieved cost effective shipment plan and consistently adding value to overall logistics operations.

•Performing all Pre & Post-fixture job functions.

•Take initiative for proper and timely action in all respects to protect company’s reputation.

•Kept management updated on all shipping schedules and apprised all issues with prompt corrective measures ensuring no financial liability.

•Ensure a smooth and proper handling of Bills of Lading (B/L), letter of Indemnities etc.

•Develop and maintain close business relations with customers, terminals, port agents and other relevant parties.

•Assisting the Pre & Post-fixture team with key information and leads during countering stages.

•Coordinating with port agents to obtain and review information’s pertaining to Vessel and Cargo operations.

•Coordinating with Cargo Surveyors and Agency House to diligently monitor and supervise Cargo load / Discharge operations and to finalize necessary documents.

•Checking and verifying the Pro-Forma Charter Party prior to final signature and endorsements.

•Check and audit Statement of Facts (SOF), Mate Receipt, Cargo manifest and other related documents once vessel has sailed.

•Preparation of Lay time calculations on Voyage Charter party.

To liaise with ship owners and charters for fixing of vessel
To intermediate functions between shipper and owners
To get the offer from charterer & send to Owners for their counters for the vessel proposed.
To prepare the Charter Party as per the terms & conditions agreed by Chrtrs n Owners and get it signed by both the parties.
To receive the vsls position and ETA Notices from the Owners / Agents / Master on daily basis.
To send these ETA notices to Chrtrs/Shippers/Receivers on daily basis
To receive the Vsls Sailing / daily Loading & Discharging Reports form the Agents / Masters and updating the Chrtrs /Shipper / Receivers accordingly.
Confirming cargo readiness from the Chrtrs/ Shippers at the Load port and updating Owners.
Confirming cargo delivery to Receivers either direct or through Agents as per the contract.
To update all the concern parties abt the development on day to day basis.
To prepare the Voyage Estimates if required.
To prepare lay time statement as and when required and updating the Owners / Chrtrs for any Detention/Demurrage/Despatch incurred.
Settlement of Demurrage / Detention / Despatch as incurred from the respective parties.
To ensure the queries are handled on time and feedback is given to all parties on time
To identify regular Bulk Cargo movement out of Indian Coasts and try develop good repo with them for receiving their inquiries on regular basis.
To locate / Identify COA with Charters
To locate / Identify TC Biz.
To identify new Owners and contact them directly
Report market developments
To maintain existing Clients & develop new clients
To meet existing & new clients on a regular basis
To liaise with clients to develop business size
To develop client base
To ensure collection of outstanding Payment from Clients
To keep track on collection dues from clients
To liaise with clients for collection of outstanding amount
To send Brokerage Debit Note and collect same from Owners.

• Risk Management - management of capital risk spread over various strategies.
• Research - Pre and post market analysis using Bloomberg and charting packages CQG. Statistical analysis of the data available to take necessary movements
• Facilitating ongoing dialogue between Management and Traders.
