Involved in the development of Enterprise Search Solution using Cloudera Search. Data sources could be Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server. Data would be indexed on a scheduled basis while changes happen in source systems. This would allow various business systems to be made searchable with minimum search time latency thereby increasing business productivity.
Process a corpus of Corporate Emails to be able to Tag them by relevant Projects and then compute Sentiments using Hadoop Hive. It was then further enriched with relevant Employee Attributes from Relational Sources. This allowed Project Managers to mitigate Project issues on time.
Designed and Developed a Project Financial Reporting System Database for General Authority of Civil Aviation. The System Objectives include Monitoring and Maintaining Project Development Life cycle while considering Government Procedures and Practices. Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Database is used to develop the system.
Implemented an enhanced Public Tracking System for the Ministry of Interior. Implementation was achieved while maintaining the functionality of the existing application along with the newly deployed system. The new system enhanced and streamlined the process of tracking people activity wherever required. The database platform used to deploy the system was SQL Server 2005.
Provided Business Intelligence solutions consultancy service to Saudi Electricity. It involved extracting data from DB2 v7 MVS to SQL Server 2005, Analysis of Data, usage of cubes and it’s attributes like action, calculations; and various problems the client faced while implementing their solutions. This helped them in increase of work efficiency and effectiveness.
Implemented data warehouse and business intelligence solutions using SQL Server 2005 and ProClarity Analytics for Civil Aviation. This helped them come up with some interesting statistics that could help them in reorganizing their workforce for increased efficiency and efficient traffic scheduling.
Designed and implemented a relational database design for a Case Management System for Commission of Investigation and Prosecution. This involved integration with other systems at the database level which was also achieved using database objects like triggers, procedures, functions, views etc. This helped in streamlining several business processes; eliminate redundant and time consuming processes that enhanced system interoperability.
Performed data consolidation, transformation and migration from three heterogeneous database designs and vendors into one database design for a prestigious client. This was accomplished by writing stored procedures, functions and anonymous scripts within a very short period. Actual documents (in binary format) were also loaded. Data validation code was also written to help in data verification and crosscheck requirement for documents in millions. Around 4 Million documents were involved in this exercise. The client could then rely on one single source of documents instead of having three different disconnected systems thereby leveraging data integrity and availability by many folds.
