KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Preparing and publishing the monthly financial management reports, preparing the analysis highlighting key weakness and strengths to the executive management.
• Preparing Excel models for income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, and key performance indicators (building a complete and integrated model of financial statements) to measure actual results and to implement proper budgeting and forecasting for each and every subsidiary and the consolidation for the entire group.
• Developing, communicating and maintaining the firm’s Corporate Finance and Accounting Policies and Procedures.
• Defining and measuring liquidity, identifying cash flow drivers and debt capacity and exploring effective risk mitigation and control.
• Supervising finance managers, analysts, controllers, accountants, and officers in Jordan and in the Arab World
• Managing the company’s cash flow, working capital, and setting up payment priorities under a tight liquidity position.
• Monitoring and training the finance team to provide timely and accurate budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting.
• Ensuring compliance with the IFRS and IAS
MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
• Worked with banks on multiple debt re-structuring options and structure short term debts into a long term loan.
• Secured operations and acquisitions finance from local and foreign banks, while maintaining excellent relationships with these banks for future financing.
• Worked with the Network Management Team on the corporate strategic planning, and participate in decision-making through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
• Maintained and distributed an up-to-date procedures manual containing organization and accounting codes and procedures. Rolled out the "ACCPAC" finance system for Optimiza network.
• Managed all legal, due diligence, and reporting for June 2009 fund raising of JD 9 million to increase the company’s capital.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Preparation of the company’s financial plan, containing expenditure forecasts, revenue and capital requirements to meet specified financial performance targets in close consultation with the CEO.
• Cultivation of relationships with financing institutions, including banks, investors, sources of governmental and municipal finance, and investors.
• Preparation of financial statements and reports; prepare annual budget, monthly income statement, monthly balance sheet, and monthly cash flow statement, monthly forecast for income and cash flow statements for the rest of the year, monthly scorecard, break-even point, finance analysis and commentary.
• Ensuring that all the company’s transactions are authorized and controlled in accordance with the agreed procedures, and that adequate systems of internal control are maintained.
• Directing, planning, supervising and controlling the activities of the Company’s human resources function, including employment, staff relations, performance evaluation, training, transfer, promotion, social security subscription, medical insurance and termination of employment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Provide the senior management with financial reports and analysis, to assist them in their decision-making as well as fulfilling the organization’s goals.
• Prepare financial statements and reports; prepare annual budget, monthly income statement, monthly balance sheet, and monthly cash flow statement, monthly forecast for income and cash flow statements for the rest of the year, monthly scorecard, break-even point, finance analysis and commentary.
• Prepare the annual consolidated balance sheet.
• Ensure full control and follow up over the collection of receivables.
• Cost planning & cost control of operation & activities.
• Follow-up with banks with regards to opening letters of guarantee, letters of credit, bank transfers, daily balance monitoring. Etc…
• In charge of follow up income Tax Departments, as well as signing the final settlement with them on behalf of Aqaba Processing Company.
• Ensuring proper utilization of human resources towards achievement of company objectives. Makes suitable recommendations where appropriate.
• Staff recruitment, training and development
Responsibilities include all activities required to support the Finance Manager, the position also entailed supervising four staff members of the Finance and Accounting team.
