• Develop sales targets for sales supervisors based on department objectives for sales and profitability.
• Take part in the coaching, development, motivation and evaluation of the staff.
• Monitor the performance of Sales team member to ensure all required responsibilities are being successfully executed; providing internal training as required.
• Conduct performance management and appraisals for subordinates.
• Control of costs in line with budget & maintain correct administrative and operational policies.
• Ensure high levels of customers’ satisfaction through excellent service.
• Review business development and sales plans and develop strategies for establishing.
• Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc.
• Propose innovative ideas to increase market share.
• Establish and maintain relationship with potential clients by regular visiting to identify sales opportunities.
• Responsible to meet and exceed assigned sales targets to meet organizational strategic objectives.
• Accountable for various Marketing activities such as product promotions through seminars, trainings and workshops, and bringing together the various suppliers and the end users to have complete understanding of the total range of our products, while looking out always to develop new customers.
• Support Business development by Identifying Business opportunities and Market Potential in the Utility, Infrastructure, Industry and other market verticals.
• Understand Market and competition and able to formulate Market Intelligence on the assigned business.
• Play a key role in developing trustworthy relationship with major customer.
• Provide quotation, order entry, and order management, customer service support to channel partners.
• Collaborate with all sales channels and resources including Technical Support Team, Product Management, and all others needed to shorten the selling cycle and close business.
• Ensure cost effectiveness for mega project procurement of materials and goods.
• Approving, organizing and confirming purchase orders and product deliveries.
• Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers.
- Full understanding of the processes interfacing between, Portfolio, Program planning & Delivery, and Project Management.
- Sufficient understanding of governance, processes, corporate business planning and financial management.
- Promote sales to existing clients, Identify and solicit potential clients
- Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services.
- Assess clients' needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services.
- Estimate or quote prices, warranties and delivery dates.
- Install computer hardware, operating system software and software applications.
- Consult with clients after sale to resolve problems and to provide on-going support and problem-solving services
