Job Description
My job description is as the following:
1 - Inpatient Care
I am enrolled with the bulk of the residents in providing care for patients in the team.
2-Ambulatory Care
I run the team follow up clinic and may be called to help in any of the team consultant clinics.
3-Emergency Department
I provide physical coverage as per a schedule prepared by the
Department. During this time, I am working in the floor and discuss as the need, dictates with the On-Call Associate
Consultant, Consultant or the subspecialty service for the management.
4-Night Call
Call coverage will be physical coverage in the department on 24
hours coverage basis.
5- Academic Activities
I participate actively in the departmental activities (attendance and presentations) . I also provide clinical bedside teaching both in the team and during the ED coverage. I participate in clinical
basic research in the department with the help of senior staff
members and encouraged to present in various Medical
symposia/conferences and write in various recognized journals.
6- Administrative Activities
I take full responsibilities of the departmental or Hospital
administrative tasks in which I am asked to be involved. This
may include departmental or Hospital standing and ad-hoc
committees. I am already assigned by the Department Head to represent the department on Quality Improvement and Infection
Control.
