Lead affiliate monthly closing process to ensure accurately and timely
presentation of affiliate financial statements.
- Arrange with all stakeholders involved in the closing process to ensure that all
closing tasks are being done on time.
- Manage effectively internal (SOX audit and corporate financial audits) and
external audits.
- Preparing Local Financial Statements in English, Arabic for statutory reporting
- Review and approve general accounting activities including account analysis and
reconciliations, JVs and manual payments etc.
- Review and approve the monthly Trial Balance package.
- First line approval of SOX documentation and control activities as per KCM and
perform periodic checks to confirm compliance with SOX throughout the year.
- Prepare Transfer Pricing Reports.
- Responsible for all Corporate Accounting and Financial Policy revisions at
affiliates.
- Review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) of the finance department on a
regular basis and ensure that relevant employees are trained.

- Oversight of Tax audit certifications and engagements.
- Responsible for managing the tax function and carrying out all Tax reporting and
Compliance requirements (Income Tax / VAT Tax / WH Tax / Stamp Tax / Payroll
Tax)
- Lead the self-control assessments across the affiliate to ensure financial
accountability and governance management.
- Responsible for individual and team performance management and
development.
Participate in preparing tax consultations reports, and tax due diligence
assignments.
- Prepare the annual corporate income tax returns.
- Prepare and attend the corporate, salary, stamp duty, and withholding tax
inspection.
- Represent office's clients in front of The Internal and the high appeal committees.
- Assisting the clients in calculating the monthly payroll tax and tax on in-kind
benefits according to tax law.
- Prepare the quarterly salary tax return and yearly payroll.
- Prepare monthly sales tax declaration.
- Prepare quarterly withholding tax form no. 41 and withholding of tax at source.
Participate in Tax due diligence assignments.
- Participate in engagements requiring tax analysis for various multinational and
local entities.
- Assist with overseeing tax research projects for clients in diverse industries.
- Assist with identifying the tax implications on multinational companies’
operations in Egypt.
- Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues which may impact group tax
restructuring.
- Assist in the drafting of tax articles in economic publications in Egypt.
- Assist with drafting and delivery of proposals for engagements and are
knowledgeable about the range of services offered by the firm.
Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting
reports.
- Recording of accounting entries daily transactions in system

- Controlling account receivables (Aging, statement, reconciliation and collections

- Preparation of trial balance and periodic financial statements
- Perform various accounting duties including examination, analysis, maintenance,
reconciliation and verification of financial records to conform to international
reporting standard.
