* The overall objective is to increase revenues in all Sharm Dreams Group -
hospitality & travel sector, especially those self-managed properties and
expand the brand to travel partners, as well as the local community.
* Oversee the overall marketing and business development of Sharm Dreams
group; Hotels, Destination Management Company & entertainment Parks.
* Increase the appeal and reputation of Sharm Dreams Group portfolio in all
segments of the market, locally and internationally.
* Continually innovate, assert presence in new geographic areas and
strengthen presence in destinations with high potential.
* Customize attractive loyalty programs for all properties.
* Hotels: Mission & duties:
* Overseeing the overall marketing and business development of Sharm Dreams
group; Hotels & entertainment Park.
* Lead efforts to increase sales, revenue, reservations, and group and event
marketing through the development of new and the expansion of existing
businesses.
* Evaluate accurately hotels market mix and revenue forecasts, helping each
property to balance the right business mix, avoid lower-rated business when it
is not needed, which trades down revenues.
* Create new niche target markets & focus on marketing mixes that appeal to
each particular segment. Methodically solicit potential clients for future
business on an on-going basis.
* Review and analyze, in a proactive manner, rate and inventory management
and strategy effectiveness, focusing on growing rates and increasing occupancy
on shoulder nights through length of stay management and inventory control.

* Provide guidance for local marketing initiatives, communicate Revenue
Management Standards and best practices, emphasizing insights that enable to
leverage hotels position and drive RevPAR in positive market conditions. In
softer demand scenarios, provide insight on which segment is under
performing so that the property’s sales and marketing teams can take corrective
action.
* Develop short, medium and long-term strategies for hotels, the DMC and
Entertainment Park and provide consultative support to other commercial
support functions.
* Make recommendations to take full advantage of revenue opportunities.
* Prepare, analyze and write reports to outline business progress and
opportunities.
* Diagnose accounts and validate conclusions for negotiated business and on-line
sales strategies.
* Evaluate market demand by utilizing available reports both internal and
external, including market share, market conditions, competitive pricing.
* Collect & translate the many streams of data coming in from sales teams,
customer service staff, marketers and social media monitoring into useful
business information to clear visibility of every opportunity or lead, showing
path from enquiries to sales.
* Monitor & analyze periodic updates on transient booking patterns.
* Maintain effective working relationships with all key business
suppliers/partners.
* Coach and develop the hotel-based Business Development Team, through
objectives setting, personal development and succession plans.
* Conduct regular calls and meetings with Clients/Business partners to support
and scan regularly, industry trends and competition.
* Participate in client meetings as the Hotel subject matter expert, organize
demos of hotel products, both online and mobile
* Proactively attend major local & International Travel trade shows, Special
Interest & Luxury Travel Trade shows and networking events.
* Recruiting, manage, train and develop the group Business Development team.

* DMC + ( Online travel Portal): Mission & duties:
* Set up programs & marketing plans for Domestic, Inbound and Outbound
tourism.
* Target new business partnership with international Travel Agencies & Tour
Operators.
* Develop business through relationship building with targeted accounts
worldwide.
* Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy for these markets to grow
existing business and increase market penetration.
* Identify new business development opportunities within Egypt’s destinations
(Branches).
* Build Marketing campaigns to drive bookings and revenue through new
Accounts/Markets.
* Monitor the market/competition, analyzing industry trends, company results
and economic climate.
* Set goals for strategic business development with International Tour Operators
and Wholesalers as well as specialized agencies that develop group tour &
F.I.T. business.
* Monitor sales activities during, and following sales trips.
* Identify and target competitive prospects and plan strategy to increase market
share
* Evaluate, prioritize, and discern strategic paths toward the launch of new
markets.
* Integrate and supervise an online booking portal B2C, allowing visitors the
option of bookings the group products online through a web page, providing
customers with a complete easy and safe way to both book and pay for services
& accommodation online.
* Extend the portal to serve as B2B network, extending business relationship
with partners, to reach new markets, new customers, offering high-quality
transfer services, car rentals and excursions. With a possibility to link
International portals through XML integration with different hotel systems (3rd
party systems). Combining different sources into a unique travel experience to
guarantee a wider range of services locally & internationally.

conducts detailed walk-throughs to ensure building, public areas, kitchen, and grounds
are well-maintained, safe, and meet or exceed guest expectations;
ensures employees are appropriately trained and performing to standard.

Director of international business development
 Directing and overseeing all business development activities to drive the Business
