Receiving the Project cost estimation from estimation department.
Study the Contact conditions, Specifications and drawings.
Preparing the Cost Baseline includes the preparing of project’s WBSs and the distribution of the budget of each WBS and each activity.
Preparing the Project Cash Flow.
Monitoring and controlling the actual cost and the committed cost of sub-contractors, supplied materials and manpower against the surveyed quantities and approved budgeted unit rates in the budget.
Review the interim payments of subcontractors against the payment terms and the conditions of the subcontract agreements.
Providing monthly cost control report with periodically calculation of estimate to completion, estimate at completion and variance at completion and tracking cost performance index and schedule performance index using earned value technique.
Assist the QS team in evaluating the VOs.
Discuss with the project manager the deviation reasons from the cost baseline and provide the proposed corrective action.
Tracking all approved changes requests and updating the cost baseline and the Project budget.
Monthly tracking the trend of the project margin.
Performing all duties using Primavera P6 and SAP project management system
Project controls engineer
Establish and manage schedules, plans & budgets consistent with the proposed project financial goals as required for project management, engineering, procurement, documentation, subcontracts & purchases & all other project activities required to achieve positive project results
Technical procurement for various project materials.
Various Contracts and Change Orders preparation and administration with project parties including client, vendors and lower ties subcontractors
Develop and implement plans (for example, the Risk/Opportunity database) to improve project results beyond established budgets and results
Monitor, control, and report monthly all aspects of the project consistent with the contract requirements and established project management procedures to attain established goals
Monitor, recommend, and initiate when necessary, changes to or corrective actions for commercial issues, product design, Construction sequence and methodology, manufacturing and/or services to assure compliance with contract requirements, and to maintain or improve project performance

Logistic manager assistant supervising and monitoring all the logistic equipment in a water drilling project located in the Sahara desert on the Algerian Libyan borders
Exploration of new water wells locations using geodesic maps
And G.P.S devices.
Preparation of the rig to be ready to start the operation
Performing the concrete slab upon the finished wells.
1-Holding the responsibility of updating all the resources and cash flow influenced by the variations and updating of timing schedules.
