This function involves the study of new products to assess their suitability for release and supportability. It includes as well the negotiation of mutual agreements with third party products suppliers to secure their back-to-back support.
Managing the day to day operation of Customer Support Services Department (CSSD)as well as managing CSSD customers who include variety of Government, Banking and private sector parties.
Managing the Customer Support Department, NCR Abu Dhabi. This function involves the financial responsibility for the CSS Department and the fiscal planning for revenue and costs involved. Along side is the managing of the CS group of 10 engineers and two clerks com stor keeping staff. Job function includes as well customer interfacing for customer with Annuity service level agreements and cash and charge customers.
Supporting various Mainframes, in NBAD, ADCB, DOF and SST’s and Computer networks.
Managing Field Engineering operation along with VRX 8500 Main Frame site support.
Managing 8 field engineers along with normal Large and medium range support functions.
Performing various field-engineering responsibilities including Support for VRX-MainFrames, ITX and Century systems.
Supervising 9 persons staff (Instructors and Lab. technicians) in the radio maintenence section which trains Ground support technicians from civil aviation authorities around the world, on the support of ground navigation and communication equipment.
Giving Instruction in the field of Electronics and Computer to Civil Aviation Authority technicians sent by the UNDP (United Nation Development Program).
Done work on the use of soft X-Ray spectra in the study of structure of crystalline solids. Work was done in Materials Engineering Department, AUC, Cairo.
Study engineering subjects pertaining to electronics, communication and computers.
