Develop Oncology / HIV Franchise marketing strategy and tactical plan:
Working with global marketing team, medical affairs and market access colleagues to develop and tailor the scientific platform, brand positioning, medical education programs and payer value proposition for Emend, Temodal, Isentress, Stocrin and prepare for the new launches (VYNFINIT and MK-3475)
- Segment and prioritize customer base and develop plans to maximize launch effectiveness
- Implement marketing plan for key accounts and payers to achieve KPIs including launch readiness metrics.
- Develop and implement promotional materials and educational programs:
Understand market, competitors and customer base in key therapeutic areas to identify key customer needs and identify revenue opportunities
- Collaborate and work closely with support functions to customize global materials to be appropriate to Saudi market.
- Develop as appropriate promotional materials and educational programs, working with internal or external agencies as appropriate.
- Internal relationships:
Work closely with oncology / HIV sales team to understand customer base for current and future products.
- Train Sales and Market Access Colleagues on Oncology/ HIV promotional strategies and associated programs and materials.
- Business operations:
Liaise and collaborate with Saudi functions, including Sales force Effectiveness, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, Finance, Regulatory Affairs and Supply and Operation Planning to ensure optimal alignment and effective implementation of business plans.
- Manage promotional budget to optimize effectiveness and efficiency in line with Merck compliance standards
- Develop annual Budget revenue and expense plan and Long Range Operation Plan (LROP) for oncology / HIV brands.
- Conduct all activities in compliance with company policies and standards, and with the SFDA Code of Practice and Guidance.
