• Coordinating with authorities, consultants and clients for drawings and inspection approvals
• Managing team of several engineers for successful completion of several projects
• Designing and reviewing of low voltage, life and fire safety, control and extra low voltage systems including all relevant calculations
• Reviewing submittals, drawings and other engineering documents prior to official submission to ensure compliance with contract documents, authority regulations and project cost
• Coordinating with architectural, mechanical and structural disciplines for MEP external and internal coordination drawings
• Evaluation of design documents after project awarding and notifying client and consultant for any discrepancies with latest authority regulations or documents
• Raising and proposing solution for any issue arising between various disciplines or variation works
• Preparing cost and technical documents for all project variations
• Attending project design and progress meetings
• Studying and proposing value engineering of projects to meet the client’s project budgets
• Ensuring all designs are complying with sustainability and energy efficiency criteria’s
• Perform regular site visits to ensure that all work executed is as per project and authority requirements
• Ensuring project is meeting quality standards
• Assessing vendor quotations to ensure that project cost remains within stipulated budget
• Planning of material procurement, manpower and tasks to ensure project is completed within time
• Managing post hand over maintenance of projects during DLP periods
• Supervising construction, pre commissioning and commissioning activities
• Ensure the work done is as per project specification and requirement
• Conducing material and site inspections in the presence of consultant and authorities
